tiki.sql is not supposesd to have update - only the synthesis of the db
because I thought so - and I change onyl in the firt line
... why is the interest to have tiki.sql with this kind of upgrade

if this proposed does not get in - means that every site witout content template on - will not be able to use pretty tracker for non admin

big picture : lph tried to redispatch the perm - one was wrongly redispacthed -  lph limited the perm to the activated features .. never find out untill, recently because I have content templates always on

possibly sensitive; marclaporte.  I was denied due to lack of PostgreSQL.  :(   So I'm limited to running a desktop Tikiwiki, as a pim.  Nice  ;)   But ... I bumped into bitweaver.  pgsql works great, but ...  How's the relationship with bw and tiki?  Do I have to 'pick sides'?

I've tried to figure out a few things, but I'll admit; without a few serious hours in (just coming to grips with where and what and best practice...I get fairly lost after the first few changes so it never gets far enough to sink in ... yet

ok, i would unzip the package in the home dir then, copy the db/local.php, files/* from old tiki to tikiwiki-3.3/, then rename public_html to public_html-backup, then rename tikiwiki-3.3 to public_html, then go to tiki-install.php and run the upgrade step
then if anything else is missing, copy it from public_html-backup (i suppose you have your tiki there)

the trick is that in your older tiki there can remain some old obsolete templates which are not removed when doing simple overwrite
so it is better to unpack the fresh one and copy to it only necessary stuff from the older
yeah that makes sense, i think once i get these templates freshened up, a lot of the problems i was having will go away
is it safe to delete directories out of the styles/ and template/styles/ folders that I do not use?
i only want the styles that are safe with v3.3 now

Hi I would like to know how to set Tiki Wiki wikipedia like - so that registered users can edit/create articles, but only administrator confirms new articles or new edits.
I tried the Small Enterprise profile in 3.3 and found that a horizontal menu IN A WIKI PAGE is shown as light blue text on a light blue background.  Quite illegible.  The light blue letters are configured to work properly in the banner, which has a dark blue background.
