I feel that especially for "standard" phrases such as "New forum post" etc, there must exist prior work. this would also be good for consistency. Caarrie: CIA-7 doesn't seem better than his father... no idea you could try their irc channel If I install php 5.3, should I expect total explosion in Tiki? Caarrie: do you know if there's anyone responsible for the bot here? for cia? anyone that wants to, i have access to it on cia.vc but nothing says it is not working rlpowell: IMHO it is the same risk than 4.x ... more or less rlpowell: you shouldn't, but we experienced at least one OpenID issue. there are surely more... heh I would think PHP 4 on Tiki 4 is much, much worst thatn 5.3 Caarrie: there were several commits since yesterday. some less than an hour ago i know they are on the cia website, but not here Unfortunately, I'm hitting some very bad memory problems. Pages with lots of tiki links are running out of memory... the limit is 128MiB Which is insane. tiki links as ((page))? Yes. Caarrie: right. sorry, what did you mean then by nothing says it is not working? the website about this cia bot looks correct It happens in just 3 lines of tikilib.php, but I don't see that it's doing anything particularily unreasonable. Caarrie: right, I just wish the bot actually worked which is why i suggest someone try the cia irc channel oh that must be a spam issue freenode tryed using google translate to automatically translate all untranslated terms, but it was crappy and unreliable. has anyone experimented with "importing" translations from other foss projects? oys: I didn't, but you may want to try #pootle I'm trying to get Page Selector working in TW 4. Might have found a tracker bug. "page selector" type field shows ((10 Best)) instead of hotlinked 10 Best. luciash: around (That is a trivial bug for my test... I'm not getting the Page Selector tpl to display data. Sigh.) about SEWilco2 problem I need to rol back the fix from yesterday showlinks is only for link to the item sylvieg: Whatever. I simply changed the pagetracker value so it did not start with a number. It's just a test/demo and doesn't matter until client likes it. (And because I'm not seeing output in the pseudopage, there's nothing for the client to see. I'm trying to figure out how to debug Page Tracker.) not sure I understand the problem it display the parenthesis instead of the link? or it is a parsing bug... sylvieg: Yes, it shows (( )) instead of linking. Happens when name starts with numbers. If you do a lot of ((links)) in a row, after a while each additional link consumes 26KiB of RAM. -_- sylvieg: That's undoubtedly a bug in the code to list tracker items. Separately, I'm trying to get Pretty Tracker/Page Selector working, but for that I can't tell whether I'm hitting a bug or not. Not good. chealer? rlpowell: I assume you mean PHP RAM, not browser RAM. SEWilco2: Corroct. 0.o It's str_replace. Leaking really badly. :( hi sylvieg I answered on devel - why taking away the tiki search depending on appllication I use or the other - because tiki search works on parsed info rlpowell: Maybe you should file a tracker item so someone will remember to take a look. SEWilco2: I kinda have to fix this now; it's breaking my site. s/../I use the tiki search SEWilco2: And it's a PHP bug anyways, not a tiki bug. (unless that's what you meant?) rlpowell: I hate when that happens. I don't hear anyone commenting on it. It's obviously in the wiki parser. Maybe there's a different PHP function which can be used. rlpowell: At least you've narrowed down the problem very well. I'm only getting to stare at an empty area where data should be. :-) Oh, are you hitting something similar? SEWilco2: in which view you have the problem with ((10 Bugs))? pretty tracker? view item? view tracker? sylvieg: The one which lists the items which are in a tracker. The regular tracker item list page. strange I can not reproduce.. sylvieg: I'm not getting any Pretty Tracker output, so there's nothing to see there. sylvieg: I think this is a TW 4.1 site... whatever the recent stable version is. ok I am on trunk.. I am always in the wrong version when I test.. sylvieg: Well, take it as a hint that someone might have fixed it in trunk. sylvieg: there was no strong reason, but to kill code and simplify building on restored MySQL-centricity. hello everyone I'm trying to install tikiwiki but I'm having an error in the installer right after I select a template I get a blank page and an error in the logs: PHP Warning: asort() expects parameter 1 to be arr ay, null given in /storage/var/www/htdocs/tiki/templates_c/en^%%F7^F7F^F7F34188%%header.tpl.php on line 139, r eferer: http://neraka.no-ip.org:8081/tiki/tiki-install.php (sorry for the multiline) Kaapa: a "template"? Recent Bug: Tracker item: #2993 - - Cannot save my changes of a wiki-page - http://dev.tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_tracker_item.php?trackerId=5&itemId=2993 I'm sorry, the installation profile Kaapa: Which profile did you choose? I can't help you, but that info might help someone else understand better. the default one Kaapa: Did you try a different profile and still get that error? yes seems to be working now.. Kaapa: which Tiki version are you installing? Kaapa: If memory serves me, that question comes after database initialization. Did you click the button on the right to initialize the database? Kaapa: It's working? I fixed it! :-) heh chealer: 4.1 what!? This is TikiWiki 1.9.7 oh... god... Kaapa: eh, I don't think Tiki 1 is still supported God? Where!? Kaapa: If you want to upgrade, I think the path is to go to 2, then again upgrade to 3, then again to 4. Kaapa: Thanks for checking the version. SEWilco2: no, I want a fresh install. but I had an ond version and I forgot about it I was puzzled, cause looked... really ugly :) Oh, so your Apache config was pointing at the old place? Yeah. Problem at the switchboard. PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function iconv_ get_encoding() when I try to test send email, is this known? PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function iconv_ damn... Call to undefined function ctype_digit() there's something wrong with my php installation SEWilco2: It's *not* str_replace leaking. Yay. rlpowell: So I hope you didn't file a PHP bug report. :-) No. Kaapa: which PHP version do you use? Was working on a minimal test. chealer: 5.2.11 Kaapa: what's your OS/setup? chealer: linux, slackware, default Apache/2.2.13 (Unix) DAV/2 PHP/5.2.11 hum, my php was built with --enable-ctype=shared Kaapa: the requirements are known to be incomplete. one might have trouble getting it to work on exotic systems. I can't believe my system is "exotic" something's fishy here fixed! bad php.ini can somewhere give me a quick info on the profiles feature? when I click on the apply profile now for company intranet, do I need to do anything else? when I click on the profile, just stays on the "Loading profile" and nothing else just saw a video that showed me that something else should have happened :p Is there a way to get PHP to tell you what the memory limit is? Not how much it's using ,but how much it *can* use? php.ini memory_limit if the asetting is on From within a script, I mean. ine_get('memory_linit') perhaps ini_get I found the memory problem; tikilib's get_page_info now caches a lot of info about every page in RAM. If you have hundreds or thousands of internal links on a page, this gets problematic fairly quickly.
