i put it just close with our provider's one
( mmm ... provider is the good english word ??? Maybe "host" is better)
I put a question to myself : is it the good official logo ? (take it on the tikiwiki first page)
other one : is TikiWiki's community is ok with it ? (ie : Have I the right to put it here ? What's about licence of this logo ?)

What is the best method for assigning perms in 4.1, for a group of pages? Does assign by category still work? I only found per-page perms so far.

houston, we've a problem ! On linuxmao, we have a forum that can be see just by admin's group. But, RSS give to all user the right to see the changes ... (TikiWiki 2.1) I look here : tiki-admin.php?page=rss but don't see or understand a way to manage thaht. An idea ?

Still looking for some help with what may be a bug in 4.1.    When I save after a page- or section-edit, I get a blank page.    With Debug Profile enabled, I do get an error (lemme know if you neeed a repost) concerning an "Uncaught exception 'Zend_Mail_Transport_Exception' with message 'Unable to send mail'"
I know mail on my server is broken.   :)
Is there anything I can do (still not being PHP savvy) to alleviate this or should I do anything to document this problem?

FWIW, I'm really liking 4.1 so far and I'm mad I missed 3.x altogether.  :)
If I edit a section, save, then edit that whole page, should I see the section edit immediately or would there be a delay for some reaon?  (Just need to fush cache, maybe?)

Wait....that's not what's happening....appears that the secion save isn't really saving.   The edit doesn't appear when I look at it from a section edit or whole page edit.
I even rolled back to the original (from September) of the page I was tweaking and it still loads as the "bad edit".
Hrm.....so how'd I lose the ability to edit?    I was logged in as admin for the rollback and one test edit.   That account seems to exhibiit the same effect as my normal user account that I use 99% of the time.
....I guess more accuraately, I seem to have lost the ability to save.  I can edit all I like...     Saving is to editing as landing is to flying tho, eh?   ;-)
Please let me know if you have an idea what may be gonig on, or even something I can do to diagnose it further.   Thanks!
Update:   The rollback function appears to have an extra confirmation step in between clicking "Rollback to this version" and getting the "Click here to confirm your action" confirmation.     It just throws up a ciscreet "Rollback" button in place of "Roll back to this version" -- I missed it the first time.
So Rollbacks do work, but seem to have a bug (or extra feature) of sorts....jury still out on the rest of the above....working on it.
After getting a successful rollback, I just made the edit using the admin account without problem.    WTF?   ;-)
Anyway I guess I'm back to normal.   Will be happy to leave the rest of the mystery unsolved...  :)

rmcc316: you *may* be able to choose a home forum in the Forums part of the Admin panel and then to your home page to your home forum in Admin General, Navigation tab (I didn't test and it may be broken)

Oh..doh.. Thank YOU luciash .. It looks like trackers can only store a fwe thousand records for now, ccorrect? I'm looking to store a couple million. I guess I need to look for a solution outside of tikiwiki?
TikiWiki is damn powerful from what Ive seen so far.  I dont know of any other product like it. Is there one?

i must say i didn't benchmarked how many records you can store but for millions i presume you would need powerful machine as server at least

we have basic antibot code captcha but if you want more advanced one you have to add it yourself in a pretty tracker probably
basic should be good enough. :)   Do you think it will bomb out after a million recoreds?  does it store in a relationship DB?
Also, If I want to track a post. I assume it emails me when a new post is make in that forum right? Also, do I need to setup a smtp server somewwhere so tikiwiki knows how to send out the notifications?
no idea, you have to fill your tracker db table with a million test records to see ;)
yes. no, if your server has properly configured sendmail/postfix for sending mails, that should be enough
