bigongstchibaguy Yea. [11:24]

err, I guess I could have left out the domain there, but you get the idea I'm sure.

chibaguyOh, I see.
Yeah, I get an error with that, too, but different: "Fatal error: Class 'ZipArchive' not found in ...lib/wiki/xmllib.php on line 32"
Sorry, no idea about this, really.
There's a "Generate dump" option on the admin wiki page.
which also seems to be buggy, in 4.1 anyway.
[11:26]
bigongstDo you know of another means to export my pages as XML? [11:33]

bigongstWell, 4.1 is on there now, but I have my 3.3 backed up if it's any easier. [11:34]
chibaguyYou could try the "Generate dump" in 3.3. Maybe it works there.
Otherwise, I don't know.
[11:35]
bigongstWhat is Generate Dump under? [11:36]
chibaguytiki-admin.php > Wiki, under the features tab. [11:37]
bigongstThat generated a full batch of HTML, that's a step in a positive direction at least. :P [11:39]
chibaguyyep, maybe it broke between 3.3 and 4.1. [11:39]

Maybe my installation is strange.
[11:42]
bigongst"You need to have tiki_p_admin to do the import and the export" What do you think that line means?
It's quoted from the documentation on XML Zip import/export.
[11:50]
chibaguyIt means the user wanting to do the import/export needs to have that permission, I assume. [11:55]
bigongstThat's what I assumed but I was hoping it would be the missing link to my issue. :P [11:57]

chibaguyOK, I'm not really sure how downgrades go, but you could try. [12:07]

chibaguyhmm, a lot of copy and paste if export doesn't work.
This is to go into a Mediawiki site?
[12:13]
bigongstIdeally, yessum.
There's documentation on the MediaWiki site that has a python script to take one of the dumps and convert it to XML, but I haven't been successful in getting it to run successfully yet.
[12:14]
chibaguyDoes the script convert the Tikiwiki syntax to Mediawiki syntax?
Just out of curiousity, what will you gain by using Mediawiki rather than Tikiwiki? Or what is the reason for the switch?

chibaguyWere your pages created with the regular wiki editor, or the wysiwyg editor? [13:18]
bigongst95% of them were created with the standard editor.
In that sample I pastebinned, it does have the wiki syntax I guess, right? It has the pipes for tables and all that?
[13:19]
chibaguyyes. Are those $n/N etc lines your wiki content? [13:21]

chibaguythen it seems to be exported ok, but is in Tiki's wiki syntax.
which is the designed behavior, I think.
[13:22]
bigongstThe emphasis behind getting the XML Zip export to work was because the python script that's posted on the MediaWiki site keeps failing when parsing these particular files. It was written for Tiki, but perhaps a while back and no longer viable. [13:24]

chibaguysylvieg, in general, that's added because when a div has floated elements, the parent div doesn't contain the floats in ie. So styles like borders and backgrounds stop above the floated elements instead of going down around them. [16:12]

SEWilco2luciash: Understood at several levels. [21:01]
luciashFF 3.6 is out btw [21:02]
ricks99odd... the icon background *is* green for GLOBAL, but definately yellow for WIKI section [21:13]
SEWilco2ricks99: Feature or bug? Or I should ask... feature or problem? If it's not a problem, maybe document it as a feature. :-) [21:14]
ricks99i would say "bug" -- why would the UI designate plugins with a different color?
IMHO it should b the same, regardless of the section.
in any case, the toolbar editor is pretty freakin' awesome. i love it
[21:15]
luciashmaybe it indicates if it is used in wiki editor, WYSIWYG or both ? [21:19]
