is there a way to generate a  wiki rss feed that *does not* have the diff information?
i just want the current/latest version of the page included in the rss
my wiki rss feeds are failing intermittently, and i think it is because the diff is generating invalid characters in my rss xml feed

Hi, can anyone help me with an error code I get going to any page after installing TW v4.1?

OK, I installed TW 4.1, removed the lock, upgraded the database, all OK. But now when I go to a page I get "FATAL ERROR: Call to a member function check_script() on a non-object in .../tikiwiki/lib/smarty_tiki/prefilter.jq.php on line 4". So I've done something stupid. Anyone know what?
(With regard to my previous question - this was an upgrade from TW 3.x rather than a fresh install. I have upgraded once before, successfully)
I am no call the check_script in a tiki4.... - strange
are you sure your files have been corectly downloaded
Not 100% sure but when FTP'ing the files I performed a mirror synch and got no error reports
I am happy to upload the files again and report back after that, if you think that is a likely problem. But I'm pretty confident that the upload was successful
Any idea what the php in the smarty_tiki directory are for? (I'm not likely to understand them by examining them)
there should not be a call to check_script in ib/smarty_tiki/prefilter.jq.php
Line 4 of that file in my smarty_tiki directory is "global $access; "

Looks like the synch was no good. I've just checked source directory and the line in the same file there does not match. It's "if (strpos($_SERVER["SCRIPT_NAME"],basename(__FILE__)) !== false) {   header("location: index.php");   exit;"
So I think you are right. I will upload the files again

The charset on my new server seems quirked.  Anyone recognize why a Registered symbol may become "®"?
(That's an "A" with a caret ahead of the Registered Trademark symbol, for those with different charset in their IRC clients)

chealer: Yeah.  It was OK on old server.  MySQL charset config looks the same.  I'm about to diff php.ini.
Nope, nothing in php.ini.  Must be something in MySQL that I haven't noticed yet.
Nothing interesting in MySQL server variables, other than a timezone difference.  Maybe MySQL knows that we don't speak utf-8 here. :-)
Hmm.  Maybe the problem is from my loading the MySQL dump file without specifying a language.  Maybe the admin tool performed a translation.

In the mysql command line tool, utf-8 is not but utf8 is.
I first tried utf-8 and got an error which mentioned the file with the list.
