Hi guys. I have just enabled ldap-signin and set that users not in tikidb should be created there. When they sign in, they are only member of the group Registered - can they automatically be added to another group as well?
stix: I did not think so - I do not see any code around this part
hmm, that is a problem, cause then all my users won't have access to anything until I manually change that
put some perms on Registered
or use a self assign to a group plugin..
Why are the no search bar on top of the strasa.css? It is checked and it worked in tiki3

so peraps you need an option in admin->look like show top bar...

we changed tiki to a new server, and now the filegallery doesnt find the files. Linkadress, with id is correct, but there is no file for download. what got lost? 
Were you stroing your files in the Database or file system?
the old configuration was stroing in the database. We implemented the database correctly. 
On the "new" Tiki, did you confirm that your file gallery configuration is correct and is also using the database?
yes, i checked that it uses the database. he gives already the new files from the "new" tiki. I think the files can't be saved in the database in the old tiki, there must be a place where the files are in? isn't it?

the tiki_files in the database (phpmyadmin) is working perfect, because the new files are fine entered and can be downloaded.  
first we implemented the database and after we began the new tiki-setup. otherwise all the datainformation would got lost. 
but we didn't changed any files.

we moved the database to a new server and have taken a new tikipackage for upgrade. we didn't moved the files. 
When you ran the Tiki install/upgrader, were there any sql errors? what version of tiki did you upgrade from and to?
we first installed the same version of tiki as before, after we made an upgrade from 3.3 to 34. 
were the files working properly when you restored the old 3.3 version?

not in php. the configuration is specified in Tiki (Admin: File Gallery page): store in DB or File system
is it possible, that pdf, doc. jpgs are saved in db?  i thought in db can only be saved information as text. 
If you have selected "Store in DB" then *all* files are converted to BLOB and store din the DB
this BLOB - informations are still in the db.

in phpmyadmin you mean? "dropping" a table will remove the table from the database
so i take just "auto increament" and "if not excist". 
i would restore the entire table from backup. note that you will need to re-add any new files that you've uploaded to tiki since the transfer
make 100% sure that the "old" files are working correctly before you start adding new files

acutally i got another problem. there are 20 files with 0 blob-bytes already in the backup db. 
i got a path in the db with a long number in stead. 
you file has been saved on the disk
perhaps free__ changed some time ago from on storage type to another - without moving the files

there was a time on the "old" server, when i saved in filesystem. 
ah.. ok. should move them all to be in the same spot.
i believe there is a "file mover" link that can move from file system -> db
that would be great. 
but i don't know where this files are
the directory location should be set in Tiki. if you switch to Save in File system, a field for the directoy location will appear (on admin page)
no i lost this location-path in the "old"version. 
there was also no specific path given from me. anyway that seems to be very complicated. 
i will finish in 10minutes. so i have to fix it next week.

hey everyone, I know that Trackers save the date / time when a new item was inserted. I know that we can view this with a Tracker List Plugin. My Question is is this possible to view the time within a Pretty Tracker?
