I am trying to add a mod and it says downloading but after, itki says: File mods/Cache/features-solve-1.8.tgz is not a valid archive. What gives? It is not this mod either most I get this error too.

i'm doing some ENHancements to the plugin so am working in trunk, but i keep finding stuff that should be fixed in 5.x and was wondering if i should switch... (fixes for trackers etc)

not yet, only just getting it working really - i added a small note in the params description
instead of the label you put "external=the_other_field_id"
it then uses JS to get the field's value and put it in a hidden input on the datachannel form
so you can have (say) a drop down list from a tracker used as a param in your profile
so can I have a list of groups anmd choose a group and run the dataachannel for that group?

another issue i found with datachannels was it was clearing all the caches each time one ran - which was very slow and unnecessary
so i added a cache param

one site I have is to run the datachannel for 50 groups

and tu run multiple time - until you have the perfect profile

what is the param perspective used for in lib/prefs/xxx. phph files?
trying 5.0 (download and svn the same): can view every page (eg. admin, categories etc.) exept tiki-index.php which is displayed as a blanc page. any known problem or just me?

Hello. Had noticed earlier today an issue with clean install fail to display tiki-index.php. found out it is only firefox (3.6.2) having this problem. Chrome 4.1,Opera 10.10, Konqueror 4.3.2 and IE8 are fine. clearing the cache&cookies solved the issue.
think there is a problem with updating the cookies in firefox (never had this before) so im not sure if this is a tiki problem or a firefox issue.
have to go and btw 5.0 looks very good though... good work

which mods do you want to download?
usually the best is to use sourceforge browse file or to svn co the mods to get what you need

plugins in mods are dead - they are not versioned
if you do not have in the core - where we suppor teverything - be pretty sure that the mod is dead .. except the theme
