It doesn't accept my db credentials! why? anybody knows? it just keeps sending me back to the first age of the installation diogogcunha: be sure you're using credentials from db/local.php use them to run 'mysqlcheck' tikiwiki: 03sylvieg * r26362 10/branches/5.x/tiki-tell_a_friend.php: [FIX]clean email tikiwiki: 03sylvieg * r26363 10/branches/5.x/tiki-tell_a_friend.php: [FIX]clean email tikiwiki: 03chealer * r26364 10/branches/5.x/lib/rankings/ranklib.php: tikiwiki: [FIX] cms_ranking_top_articles(): Top articles only showing unpublished articles (r24448 regression) tikiwiki: oooops. thanks Ben Eason toctoc any of the coders of the webdav feature in Tiki5 around this channel today? hi xavi - did you see doc about the new rating system? sorry I know nothing about webdav Hello everyone: I was told that Tikiwiki has some form of "track changes." Is this true? I have been unable to locate any conclusive information on it hi sylvieg. doc about new rating system? nope I read the name , but I don't know what is it about WilliamRice: track chagnes? can you be more explicit? what are you looking for? tiki tracks many things My org is looking for something that is equivalent to Microsoft Word's track changes capability. I was told that Tikiwiki had this ability. We're using it on a crowd sourcing project :-) Any wiki engine has that Wiki history, show changes among any pair of versions, ... Ya, we're looking for something more like Word So that when a user came onto a page they could see the "track changes" Rather than going to another page with the revision history "another page": it's the same page Do you have to click the history tab to see the revisions? yes that's what I mean It's one more step for our not so technical users in word you have to click to see changes also Yes, so what my org was looking for was it to be turned on automatically, rather than a user initiating it I am convinced this doesn't quite exist yet or no one has successfully accomplished it. I will say "DocumentCloud" has demo something very close, but it's for PDFs WilliamRice: you could have the homepage for your registered users showing the RSS feed of wiki changes this way you have what you are looking for, somehow Interesting...is this inherent or a plugin? inherent Do you have a link or an maybe a term I use to look it up for more info? *I can use :-) see http://doc.tikiwiki.org/PluginRSS Appreciate it but keep in mind that in Tiki world, plugins are bundled within tiki in 99% of the cases and you could call that plugin from within a wiki page, which can be set as the homepage of users from group X Your help has been invaluable welcome to Tikiwiki Community! :-) this means that you could have some homepage for your registered users, for instance, with something like this http://doc.tikiwiki.org/tiki-wiki_rss.php?ver=2 inside (or your wiki rss feed) I'm taking a look at your links as we speak so do I :-) sylvieg: http://doc.tikiwiki.org/Advanced+Rating <- is that what you meant? thx :-) thanks again X sylvieg: is there any chance that we get some cron to change tracker items status after a certain period of no activity? I still have some budget where I guess that I can pay for it (I remembered a moment ago, when I read the changes in the file gallery config, and file being deleted after a certain period of time; provided a cron job is also added, etc.) for barter networks (such as intercanvis.net ), that would help to clean the database of offers and demands much more easily than nowadays.... it is on my todo list yes it is the same than the fgal that's good news :-) tikiwiki: 03sylvieg * r26365 10/trunk/ (171 files in 27 dirs): [MRG] Automatic merge, branches/5.x 26288 to 26364 malporte? mlaporte: ? polom pompom :-) I?m still following the webdav crusade tiki-install.php on windows (using latest stable easyphp) fails for me :-/ http://tikiwiki.org/styles/arcturus/options/amette/amette.png oups, sorry, wrong link lol :-) I would use Windows client with Linux server "an error occurred while performing the request" => which app where you using when you tested in localhost on a windows machine? (in case easyphp is no longer the recommended one - it used to work like a charm years ago, when I was using windows more frequently) Firefox with WebDAV plugin & IE as the client I didn't install Tiki as localhost. I almost never do ok I feel it's a waste of time and prefer to work on the server where the app will ultimately live yes, I know tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r26366 10/branches/5.x/ (2 files in 2 dirs): [FIX] strip_tags on value and names for tracker filter inputs such as drpdowns and radios. Also don't prevent datetime fields to have a simple text input (with datepicker if jq ui enabled) mlaporte, what should I do to see that link "open as webfolder"? I can't manage to see it (from windows client, and linux server, running latest 5svn) mlaporte: would you mind testing if it works for you here, please? http://r-help.es.ourproject.org right click Not Found The requested URL / was not found on this server. oups, sorry: http://r-help-es.ourproject.org "right click".... interesting... however, firefox not responding after I right cliked on a jpg file on a file gallery through the "open as web folder" try with IE hello all. oh, well, it didn't work for me, marclaporte, neither with IE8 or FF and windows virtual machine froze again when attempting to open as web folder :-/ ok, enough unsuccessful testing for today cheers !uh.oh! ....
