I reproduced the flickering issue with Firefox 3.6 on Windows XP - I was unable to reproduce with Iceweasel 3.5 on Debian
so far lindon_ told me the problem appears on the page to post a blog entry. well, the flickering issue doesn't happen on Firefox 3.0, so it looks like it only affects Firefox 3.6. we'd need to debug the JavaScript code on page load but it's long.
