using date & time in trackers doesn't work in 4.2 in my situation
I get a blank screen in return when using the syntax dt,2010,2050,blank
it will be a tracker like appointment @ a place, date & time
did you try the field without parameter
martijn85: checked it in 4.2 and it worked here. did you set the tracker field to public, viewable and searchable? Also blanc pages sometimes results from lack of available memory (php.ini)

martijn85: so you see something? or a blank page? when the form is messed up maybe you just mixed the field IDs(plugin trackelist) or $f_# with an template. If thats all correct maybe your installation/downloaded archive is corrupt. last week a friend of mine had this with the zip version of 5beta1 on windows. strugled for hours with basic features. Downloading and extracting the tar.gz solved the issues.

installing a new installation is not really a solution.. (edited lots of files)
looks very weird. is ths a wikipage with trackerlist wikiplugin or the default listing from list trackers? If the later you could try to us a trackerlist plugin instead.

I got the trackers working on 5.0 beta coaboa
try to remove the outer brackets. I just kopy/paste it and it display perfectly with both field date&time and jsclandar
just changed the values for my tracker and fieldID

with my installation (4.2 local testsystem on debian) it works exactly as you wrote. So maybe this point to a corrupt install.
and how can I fix this now?

50 wiki pages
layout etc
oops... I have a tiki folderstructure with all my modifications which I copy over my fresh install folders which makes reinstall as easy as "cp -a ./* ../targetdir

in this way you can veryfie (befor copying your mods) tha the date selector works. if it doesnt work after copying there must be something wrong with your mods.

hello. i booted my server and now tikiwiki doesn't start. does anyone know how to start it? or what the startup-script is called?

@talin: no "startup" -- just point your browser to tiki-index.php
talin: are apache or .. and mysql running?

hmm... in tiki5, when i upload a PNG with transparency to the file gallery, the transparency is lost and turns to black
but a transparent GIF works fine

which version? Havent seen it for a while ;-) As far as I remeber it is linked to the Help system itself therfore I simply replaced the image with a very smal one (1px). If you want to keep it you can switch it of in admin features, but not sure excactly where.
ok I found this "Floating help aka the Big Blue Help Icon " I disabled it - know there is a help for the search function to anonymous users

nead a plugin_articles which uses wiki pages as input but fais to modify that plugint to work with wikipages. Is critical to the project and I wasted 2 weeks now and thought I can use articles instead but they don't have versioning and collab features :-( Dieing.

why did you add global smarty
trying to "fish " around
Because "admin users" was crashing in the middle of the first user display.
With an error from that file.

my problem is that smarty does not recognize the define onn thsi site
the compiler transforms the define to 'NO_RESULT' instead of giving back 0
I wil have never writen such a code because I thought define were not share between smarty and php but my local can see them ...

hoe did you find out global smarty was working?
It errored out because $smarty was undefined, that's all.
So I tried that and it worked.
