luciash: Tiki uses lot of requests because of lot of perms checks, so if you don't need some modules you can gain performance by removing them from left and right cols and also using wiki cache for individual wiki pages helps a lot

luciash: no idea if it uses AdoDB driver or PDO already in Tiki 3 and how to "deactivate" it, you would need to rewrite the whole app to use only mysql specific queries and not to use the database abstraction layer
