jonnyb, about the login dropdown, I basically structured it as a horizontal cssmenu, and added tabmark classes to the links in order to get the coloring and corners, etc.

Maybe the left-column module can use the category parameter, and there could be as many of these modules as there are categories. The top menu links would have to point to a page that has the same category as the menu that is expected to appear in the left column.

yesterday night some people here advised me for ex to activate tikicache
and to deactivate most of the modules - what I have not yet activated much and will need some more for the different appearing menus
my tiki sends a couple of database requests and only the fourth or so will be answered, after about 12 seconds
only a very few users we have now, but when we switch our domain to the tiki we will have a couple of hundrets every day
I need a workaround here

Jen: you cannot uninstall or delete a profile, nor can you install one, even if applying a profile was once labelled "Install profile"
the problem I see with profiles is that once applied it is hard to go back and delete the changes since you will need to read what the profile did to manulla "undo"

Hello, I know that 4.2 is not at all the current object, nevertheless I met a critical problem when updating form 4.0 to 4.2 on a quite exploited site (starting to populate to run with a 5.x LTS). The admin had lost most of his rights, particularly the users management rights and cannot create anyone neither modify, they can be consulted and the database seems alright. After the admin is...

Ok I am back. OK with groups but permissions are wrong for the level "admin" most of rigths are set to null. I will replace with sql by Y, that's right , before I dump the db in SQL mode. The pb needs to be fond, there are probably some particular conditions which have made this during the db upgrade. Are you alright ?

when doing change inn db directly - caches are not sync
OK but the problem occurs one week ago, I had made the upgrade but no test of all, I could redact wiki and article and other need function. It is when I have been "pushed out" changing editor options that I discover the problem. So It has been repeated. Now after changing the db I will clear the cache(s) before test.
