my enghish is very bad i use google tranlation for comunicate in enghish
jonnyb: go for it! :)
Andurino: I see tikiwiki applications. and there are some aspects that I fail to understand
the project to edit video and voice communication with both the know using applications installed on your computer but do not know how to operate the system tikiwiki
jonnyb: tiki is installed on a web server - only the browser is on your computer
Andurino: yes , i have ubuntu sytem + lamp (apache+ php + mysql) + tikiwifiles and firefox navigator ok?
jonnyb: sounds like a good start
kaltura (the video part) runs on kaltura's servers - you need to set up an account
they do free trials (10GB limit)
Andurino: this project I insteresa much as it is the closest thing to what we were looking for the association to which I belong. members of this association are people with serious mobility problems, paraplegic
we need an integrated system of a single access, and to work cooperatively
jonnyb: welcome to tiki! :D
where are you?
Andurino: about what the video, if only we allow limited access is not a good solution because then stay as we are, no solutions
spain i am spanish, sorry for my loower resporter
jonnyb: i don't understand - free kaltura account is limited, you need to pay them for more bandwidth & storage
Andurino: excuse me physically I'm slow and I have to translate
jonnyb: or set up your own kaltura server (we haven't worked out how to do that yet)
we have tiki friends in Madrid and Barcelona
Andurino: yes you say, "you need to pay" itÅ› a problem
jonnyb: i understand that! ;)

jonnyb: check out http://www.kaltura.org/
Andurino: i see it in other time
jonnyb: http://www.kaltura.org/project/community_edition_video_platform is how to set up your own video server
Andurino: i The video is interesting but not a priority option, it would be an option for medical courses. I am interested but the communication is a priority especially if voice
Think you understand sencilo is more talk than to write at least in our conditions
I think you understand that it's easier to talk than to write at least in our conditions
now use application for voice type teamspeak , other googletalk, skipe and other only runing good for 1 o 2 user ,
teamspeak, ventrilo are similar voice- ip for groups
I appreciate your interest and your help, I hope you understood me half and I apologize for it
jonnyb: oh ok, sorry - i misunderstood - you probably will be more interested in the big blue button integration, yes?
http://doc.tikiwiki.org/BigBlueButton
voice/video chat - screen sharing, presentations etc
it's good! (and free)

thank
but this option is include in tikiwiki or it is separate, the posilibity wiki documents forums and webmail are requeried also

(although for bbb you need to install their server stuff - looks easy on ubuntu)
Andurino: Can you help me to configure this in the near future?
or get in touch with someone who could help?
jonnyb: i haven't done it yet - but there a probably people here that will be able to help (they're just hiding!)
Andurino: I remember you had known that referred to Spanish-speaking yours. How can I can contact?
jonnyb: he's here sometimes - look out for Xavi
not sure if the Madrid people are still around

RavenC: ok, a question from another galaxy, far far away.... Has anyone attempted using adobe (or anyone elses) Electronic signatures within TW ?
-: RavenC hopes nobody chokes from laughing so hard
mlaporte: RavenC : can you describe use case?
RavenC: need to be able to e-sign pages/forms.
I thought the inherent perms with login would suffice, but oh no... has to include a "legal" e-sg as well
say for instance, a wiki page must be read. Proof would be the e-sig of the user that has read it.
mlaporte: is there an open standard for this?
RavenC: i have no idea. I have only used Adobe's e-sig's up to this point. I know it has integration with other apps, but just kind of taking a shot in the dark
Our dev team is creating an alternative, and hopefully I can use the DB calls to SQL to use it
just thought I would ask before getting overly involved, in the event someone had done this before

jonnyb: hi nkoth - i've looked a few times - thought i'd fixed it once
it's probably connected with the wiki paragraph formatting etc prefs
nkoth: jonnyb: what's the approach?
wel, i have wiki para formatting off
jonnyb: it doesn't do it with that on afaik
would be good to stop it entirely - but it's in parse_data (or near it) so extra scary
nkoth: I'm getting it even through the wikiplugin smarty tag
so I think it's plugin_execute that does some parsing inside and somehow adds it at the end
sylvieg: nkoth:
I have a working solution in trunk
nkoth: sylvieg: ok i look at trunk...
sylvieg: commit 27355
and you need to have that too
update tiki_preferences set value='n' where name='feature_wiki_paragraph_formatting' or name='feature_wiki_paragraph_formatting_add_br';
the cnrs with their 20 tiki is happy with that
I will be glad if more testers
I am ready to backport - even if change in the db .. I am not sure a lot of people use the wiki formatting
nkoth: it doesn't really work for me,..

my fix is for wysiwyg/tiki editor <br> problem

probaly need more flag to not add that <br when parsing wiki plugin or something like that
