is there something in the DB that blanks the theme if it can't (for a moment) find the css?

chibaguyricks99: How can I start a themes.t.o Twitter stream? Just start the account at twitter.com?
chibaguy is basically a twitter noob....
[12:13]
ricks99yup.
we have tikiwiki_code
and tikwiki_search
, though we should probably change to eiki_code / tiki_search
ricks99 too many typos, not enough coffee
[12:13]
chibaguyI was looking at your ideas on the Communications Team page. [12:14]
luciash:D :D :D [12:14]
ricks99which ideas? [12:15]
chibaguyabout having more twitter streams, and I was thinking I'd like themes to get more exposure also. [12:15]
luciashchibaguy: i would say tiki-themes is good name for that twitter account [12:15]
chibaguyok [12:15]
ricks99perfect
feel free to copy the theme/background that I did for the other tiki-xxxx twitter accounts
[12:15]
chibaguyhyphen or underbar in name? [12:16]
ricks99at least this way we'll all look uniform [12:16]
luciashhyphen is better for SEO
but underscore can work nowadays too (at least for Google)
[12:16]
ricks99either way. we just need t obe consistent [12:17]
chibaguythings like updating a theme to the new tiki version probably deserve at least a tweet. [12:17]
luciashlooking uniform isn't always the best option, but tiki logo (the simple oen at least) should be there (in the background) [12:18]
chibaguyyeah, for sure the logo. [12:18]
ricks99y. see http://twitter.com/tikiwiki_code
just copy the background
[12:18]
luciashi wonder, would it be hard to change name from tikiwiki_search to tiki-search ?
on twitter ?
[12:19]
ricks99pretty easy, i think....
tiki-code
tiki-search
tiki-themes
and the main tikiwiki
[12:21]
chibaguyIs 'username' 'tiki-xxx'? [12:22]
ricks99y [12:22]
luciashyep [12:22]
ricks99ricks99 loves twitter [12:22]
chibaguyok. along with my name as realname, i guess. [12:22]
luciasha pity tiki username is already taken
chibaguy: doesn't need to be
can by "Tiki Themes" the real name
*can be
[12:22]
ricks99since we have (TM) for tiki, we could make a case to re-capture the twitter.com/tiki account [12:23]
chibaguyah, ok. that's "fullname", I meant. [12:23]
luciashricks99: yep, it is not updated anyway since beginning of this year iirc
ricks99: i am not sure if we can success though if it's personal account and not simmilar product/project account

luciashchibaguy: aaaah, really ? weird limitation :) [12:25]

chibaguyI don't really know yet. [12:25]
ricks99k [12:26]
luciashit could be both easily [12:26]
ricks99y.
ricks99 still thinks we should echo the forums to tiki_help or tiki_support
[12:26]
luciashbut remember the 14 chars limit
oops, typo, 140 chars :)
[12:27]
ricks99no prob. just use the rss feed to point/link back to tw.o
the idea (imho) is to generate click/traffic to the tw.o sites
[12:27]
luciashi mean sometimes the forums questions are lengthy starting with introduction and the titles are not meaningful enough
or you mean just tweet replies ? ;)
[12:28]
ricks99totally agree
rtfm
:-)
[12:29]
luciash:D [12:29]
ricks99i added a thing at the top of the form to *PLEASE* include url and tiki version jnumber with each post... oh well...
anything we can do to increase tiki's visibility (such as additional, active twitter feeds) is IMHO a "good thing"
[12:29]
Q. in tiki 6, theres the re-captcha option. is there an option to "reskin" the re-captcha UI? or do i just use CSS overrides? [12:37]
chibaguyok, twitter.com/tiki_themes is set up. [12:43]

xavi: btw, yesterday i tested SNiPTT on the c2c site
[18:14]
xavixavi wishes prefs.js from Thunderbird was not so fragile [18:14]
ricks99didn't try.. didnt see itemid listed as a valid item when using the plugin
will try...
[18:15]
xaviwohooo, did it work? [18:15]
luciashxavi: hope it didn't break anything [18:15]
xavi:-) no idea [18:15]
luciashxavi: i still have some work ahead [18:15]
xavi:-) [18:15]
luciashxavi: the site would need SVN up but didn't found the credentials in my mails [18:15]
ricks99ricks99 wonders what "Do not filter on the param itemId if in the url" in Advanced Optins means... [18:15]
xaviricks99: today I've tried to add some extra params to pluginmediaplayer, non documented, non supported(non-shown by the plugin helper, but htey worked! :-) [18:16]
luciashricks99: it means exactly that
xavi: i have one issue with trunk, well, two
[18:16]
ricks99if what is in the url?
im not using a url ... im using a plugin
ahh.. found the Item ID got it. tx all
[18:16]
luciashxavi: it is muuuch slower than Tiki 5.x with trackers (also the c2c site seems too slow for me regarding Tiki as i was playing with it yesterday) [18:17]
xaviluciash: same for me
for me, trunk is much slower than tiki5 in general
[18:17]
luciashxavi: the other issue is jQuery related, so i need jonnyb to nail it down ;) [18:18]
xavior it was (I ond't know now)
ok, good luck
[18:18]
luciash:D [18:18]
jonnybhmm? [18:18]
xavitoday I saw also that pluginJQ didn't work with Chromium 6.0.... :-/ (but it did with ff) [18:18]
luciashjonnyb: i will prepare more to describe/show the problem in Colorbox Ajax Load profile and let you know ;)
jonnyb: it is not obvious now to debug, as it uses Plugin Alias currently
[18:19]
jonnybluciash: ok, looking forward to it! :) [18:20]
luciashjonnyb: glad to hear that :) [18:20]
jonnybay? what does? some of the really old image plugins were removed in 4 and replaced with aliasses
but nothing to do with colorbox afaik
[18:20]
luciashxavi: oh, chromium 6.0 ? [18:21]
xaviyes [18:21]
luciashjonnyb: it is alias i made for it [18:21]
jonnybxavi: the plugins are rendered server side, so it's probably what was in it, rather than the plugins itself
lots of {jq} bits work for me in safari/chrome - should be the same
[18:21]
luciashjonnyb: you can try in Tiki 5.x by installing the Colorbox_Ajax_Load profile but in Tiki 6.x you will see the example on wiki page it creates doesn't work [18:22]
xavijonnyb: the syntax for pluginJq to add content to some fields, as you told me and I documented in http://doc.tiki.org/PluginJQ , it does nothing on Chromium 6.0.x to me, but it does with Firefox 3.6.8
that's what I meant with PluginJQ doesn't work with that browser,e tc.
[18:22]
jonnybany errors? [18:23]
xaviof course I know that plugins work server-side... sorry for being not so precise [18:23]
jonnyb(in a console somewhere) [18:23]
xaviok, forget about my report now. I'm firefighting (Still) other fires (many today)...
that jquery issue and other potential bugs in tiki trunk that I've seen today, will be tested again, and potentially reported properly later, next days or weeks
if firefighting allows...
[18:23]
jonnybok, mails to devels is probably the best way [18:25]
xaviok, whenever
some versions of chrome are tricky. chromium 7.x is defective in adding filetype to tracker item attachments for instance (but Chromium 5.x and 6.x work fine)
so , who knows.... better testing & bug reporting needed
[18:25]
luciashxavi: also i am glad that uploading profile picture via tracker image type item works on c2c demo... it stopped working on my localhost :( so i was worrying what caused that... maybe php upgrade of my ubuntu ? :( [18:26]
xaviwho knows... so many potential fires... :-) [18:27]
luciashwe must make Tiki more fireproof ;) [18:28]
xavioh well, this wish have to be extensible to all FLOSS :-)

ricks99pretty please... [18:47]
xavicould it be that it's not possible to split that from the rest of anti-bot protection?
just a guess... :-)

in the user-list I did see only one
any developer here today, who is in the database changes of tiki5?
[21:01]
chealerfabricius: what do you mean? [21:03]
fabriciusI think mostlikely the changes of encoding (utf8 / latin) since tiki5
I use two servers for our project
a project-virtual-hosting at 1und1.de (of one of our local groups)
ahh no sorry, thats all-inkl.de
and aproductive-managed-server at 1und1.de

although there is Tiki3.x running without any problems
and our 1und1.de mySQL DBs use utf8 and I tried transfer of the dump of the other server and I tried manual installation and everything what came into my head ...
thats what I mean chealer

in the end of the day, I do not understand, why my 3.6 is running and my 5.1 and 5.2 are not
settings should be the same and are the same
I did install 3.x, and 4.2 a couple of times on two servers - in the end in not more than 10 minutes, but 5.1 runs on one server and not on the other
and I do not know what was changed in addition to utf8 tightening
