luciash, I noticed menus don't work completely in Opera unless minify CSS is on; apparently when not minified, maybe not all the files get used/found or something.

Hi - I've just run the installer on a site still updating from trunk - but the installer says it is 6.0 SVN alpha 1 - ie the same as the new branch. Should trunk be Tiki7 now?

you need to click twice for some reason, instead of once, the first time, to get the fade in and fade out ...
so there might some (tiny) thing else needed in that jquery syntax (or jq bug fixed, if any), but it's nearly perfect! (andimpressive)

I also tried adding that jquery magic in a statictext-field, but the pluginJQ seems that it can't be validated (as a plugin call) when used inside a statictext field 
if the pluginJQ call could be validated when used in a statictext field, then we could use simple text prefill or text area prefill in trackers , without the need to use tracker plugin, or pretty trackers, etc.

that's written in a  field
