wow. pretty painless jonnyb: unusual (for trackers) uSlacker: good afternoon everyone
Question for you all - I'm installing tiki 5.3 at a hosting site and it is going well
I have the site running, but I noticed something odd
often when I click Save on an Article, I'm getting a prompt that navigating away from the page could cause a loss of data
I first got this using IE9 and figured it was me. The I tried IE8 and it is still there
is this a browser problem or is there another place I should look? ricks99: if u click OK is the article truly lost? or is it ok? uSlacker: It is there
actually, clicking OK doesn't mvoe me off the page, browser just waits... ricks99: then i'd guess a tiki-issue. probably something with the js that checks if you are leaving an editing field. uSlacker: Should I try this with a wiki page to see if the behavior is universal? jonnyb: uSlacker: yes, it's due to unfinished implementation of the consistent {textarea} object deployment started in 5 - there are still a couple to clear up for 6.0 (like in trackers) ricks99: the "browser just waits" sounds like a bigger issue. but y, edit a wiki page and see if you (1) get the false warning and (2) if the page saves
ah. jonnyb: this is a known issue? jonnyb: clicking ok should save ok afterwards ricks99: all text fields or just articles? jonnyb: the button need a needConfirm=false adding
i think it's fixed in 6.x (can someone check?)

funny CIA-60: tikiwiki: 03nkoth * r29957 10/branches/6.x/lib/comments/commentslib.php:
tikiwiki: [FIX] Problem was that all the forum topic replies was appearing as topics in
tikiwiki: the topic list. Bug only appears when post data content is long. This additional
tikiwiki: grouping by anything other than the threadId seem not useful. I think what
tikiwiki: happens is that when data is long the group by query gets overwhelmed and does
tikiwiki: not group at all, thus showing all joined lines. fabricius: for a virtual work group - in a company or in a community or ngo doesn´t matter so much for the moment - what features everybody would think to be most important?
wiki pages, blog, article, IM, forum?
just as standart, if predefined
what would be the most important to you guys and girls? sylvieg: article are not interactive
