Hi, I recall reading about a particular feature, but I can't seem to find it in the docs. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.
In that, on a wiki page, you could have a section of that page that is only viewable by people of a certain group.
For instance, if you had a series of biographies, and want to include contact info, but did not want anonymous users to be able to see the contact info.
But I can't seem to find the relevant tags, and the terms I'm searching with seem to be too vague.
So the next obvious step is bothering people in IRC, of course.

not sure it was a good idea though to kill the feature completely... i can imagine clients upgrading to Tiki 7 but having their custom tpls not html5 ready yet, so maybe they would appreciate possibility to specify different doctype (XHTML, etc.)

luciash: I don't think a custom DOCTYPE makes much sense. stock Tiki used to be written for some specific HTML variant and it's the same for all installs. if you customize, you have to use the same variant as Tiki, and if Tiki changes, you need to adapt the HTML variant too.

of course, you can use two different variants, and hope browsers will swallow it, but there's no guarantee that will work

hello does anyone know if it is possible to exclude certain parts of pages from different users with different access profiles, e.g we import wood windows from 5 different factories across europe, want an area for our employess to create a new product data base but would like the suppliers to be able to log to update drawings on the  product info page without being able to see the sensitive info parts ?
you can use the Group plugin to make only parts of a wiki page visible to specific groups. Please see docs for details doc.tiki.org/plugingroup

I set a wrong parameter and it created 1000 group automatically after a login.

did you make the categories searchable (perms). on my search results page, i have  category filter
ok now ive got my staging and approve set to a parent category, the article is in the subcategory, but when i edit it the staging version is saved in the parent staging category, so i think thats why it goes to the parent category of approved

with staging on, if I am viewing a wiki page which have Tabs in it, and I click the Edit Plugin:Tabs button below them it saves it to the article and doesn't go through staging. so when I edit the full article again the edit doesn't appear in staging
