hey folks, new installation of tiki 6.1: collapsible (i think jquery based) menus are not working. it's just showing all the links, which work, but no collapsing...  I've checked the settings and it appears everything is correct. Is there anything you guys might suggest?

it does not. you have 2 options
1. modify the TPL to turn it on by default.
or
2. use the custom site header area to make your own <FORM> element that uses the adv search

strange anomaly... I have set all left modules to flip=yc.  Sadly, even if I close all modules when I log out, all modules are open when I log back in.  On top of that, if I shade two modules, as soon as I cange pages in TW, the second (or last in more than two) module goes back to open.

i'm getting an error when clicking on the tracker item from the list tracker page.  /tiki-view_tracker.php?trackerId=2  .  system error.  installer, db corrupt or 3 db credentials  ... this is what stalled me last week, then got busy with something else.  So....

what's interesting is that since i started tiki i haven't had to ftp, or phpmyadmin anything.  and that's cool.

doctrine2 just has a very nice API that does not require extending an ugly base class that causes plenty of side effects, entities are just normal objects with properties

jonnyb: I am looking at ways to get it into php, and there exists a few ways, but they all have to do with generating a new lexer, with a bit different syntax.  Is there anything in there that php can do that javascript can't and vise-versa?  I'm talking with Zach Charter at Jison about possibly building a lexer that lexes from javascript to php.

There is, but it is a bit different syntax.
pair has a great one actually, but no where near as good as Jison.

I meet today the following. 
The user comment of the center of page uses a full page with a column of 14c. of text large.
The reason : it is normally a not boxed module. But as it has no more  $module_params.class (new module properties simplified) then this module inherit of the general class .module which is defined with 180px max.
What do we do ? Who does something ?
Nevertheless module.tpl, modules properties, .css are concerned and if nobody take care we can suppress the custom_center_column_header.
May be it is a no matter problem ? 
Can we discuss of such problem on IRC ?
Is it reserved to dev mail or to wish list ?
Sorry but I don't know how to solve it ?

The custom_center_column_header is a module.
This module his a topmodule of center of page, then it had the width of the center column.
This has been accidentally changed.

<luciash> the "custom_center_column_header" is an old feature, the comment that an admin can add as header of page.
Some recent changes makes that this comment can't be displayed well. I just see this.
There are several action which have created this (without interest as particular problem). Mainly various separated changes in modules definitions.
So the problem is to have a coherent correction. As I don't know what's the aim and the final state, I can just say : take care -> This is the mechanism which create such problems, which are not at all to solve later.

I do believe that such problems must to be identified as soon as possible (the same in mechanical studies), because after to solve it costs a lot.
I say :
1- This feature is not alwaysz used so if there is no content nobody can see the problem
2- This module into the last (not mine) tiki.tpl seems misplaced
3- This module is by default "not boxed" this has a consequence in module.tpl {if {else
4- When the not boxed module is treated, a class is defined. The class is ". module" if "$module_params.class" is not defined.
5- Changes in module definitions makes so that the class of this module can't be defined then it is ".module"
6- the class .module defined in layout.tpl is by default max-width:180px
7- the consequence is that this module as header of a page can contain no more than 14 characters and uses a full page height for four line of normal text.
Todo : allow again to change the class of the module or use a default value set into database. But if I don't know the aim I can't do it.

1- check smarty into .def (context) smarty.def is 63ko
2- check into Syntax smarty.ini is  4ko
Goto option syntax color ; select <unassigned> ; choose in list of "enhanced color" smarty then smarty become the name of the new assigned type. Whe'n you vrestart you get the syntax enhancement.
