hi everyone...i'm not sure...but can i ask some usability questions in here?
i got a problem by creating a knowledgebase based on structures. i have at least 4 layers in a structure. the page and structure of layer 1 must only be edited by the admin. the page and structure of layer 2 must only be edited by "smalladmins" and below layer 2 every registered user can edit and add pages to the structure. now i started working with objectpermissions. for the first layer...
...(toplevel) i added the perms "tiki_p_edit" and "tiki_p_edit_structures" for the admin...the same perms were added to admins and smalladmins for layer two...and below layer 2 everyone got these permissions. now, according to the deskription in doc.tiki.org i expected that a normal user can see the inputfield of the structure bar from layer 3 and all lower layers, but they can still see...
...these inputfield on layer 1 and 2. i hope you understand my question and my english is not too bad. i hope you can help me. thanks, josh

so...i used objectpermissions
layer 1: admin got the right "tiki_p_edit" and "tiki_p_edit_structures"... layer 2: admin and smalladmins got these rights...layer 3: everyone got these rigths
now...according to the structure info page on tiki.org  the persons owning the rights should se the input field in the structure top bar of the page....but everyone can see it
i suggest using categories instead of applying obect permissions to every single page. much easier to manage
if everyone has tiki_p_edit structures then yes, everyone can edit the structure (that is, add pages to it)
i got a mainpage including a toc of the structure
if i only give the right tike_p_edit_structures to the admin for this page...i thought, that only the admin can add pages in this layer of the structure?

no. there's only 3 categories. when you create a new page, you simply put it in the correct category
it doesent end at layer 3....the users should be allowed to create deeper "structures" but they mustn't edit or create pages in higher levels

and then a user can create all the following numberings... 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.2.1
users will only be able to edit pages that are in their "category". A "regular" user will not be able to edit a page in the "adminonly" or "smalladmin" categories (if you also set the tiki_p_edit permission)

the layer 1 and 2 pages shall only include "tocs" for the lower layers...
1.1.1.1 knife etc. shall be filled wiki-pages
or also 1.1.1 if not more partitioned

Hey! Been trying to get the webdav working for a while now but just doesn't work.. I've tried ~5 different php webdav servers and all fail so must be some kind of server issue... Any ideas where to start looking?

I tried to find the proper name for the tool (ckeditor support, google) and made several tries this is going nowhere. The tool name list in the toolbarlib are ckeditor and there is a list somewhere to be found or did we built it to implement the ckeditor into TW. I need a lead...

when you drop a new module on a zone (column etc) a jquery-ui dialog box should appear with all the settings in (inside tabs)

they are everywhere in fact. And it adds unwanted whitespace all over. Looks like TikiLib around lines 6500-6800 is playing tricks.
Some have indeed to do with that pref, but aren't the ones giving trouble since shutting the pref off doesn't change anything.
@lph: the feature indeed works... but now, I have a nice <p>&nbsp;</p> generated that *still* gives me blank space. What to do to get this away?
