Wouldn't it make more sense to try to support a second css framework which delivers "many" themes? chibaguy: It would, but I don't know of any good candidates.
As far as I know, CSS frameworks provide styling, etc. comprehensively, but don't bring along a set of themes. coaboa: what about the yaml framework from dirk jesse (suported by drupal, wordpressetc. too. (yaml.de) and have a builder.yamle.de too) not gpl but free to use unless you want to remove the yaml link (this requires just a one time payement license for a developer) chibaguy: oh, that's right. did you do some experimenting with that + tiki? coaboa: yes but failed as tiki moved to quikly ;-) chibaguy: ah, that's part of the problem, for sure.
well, jonny's theme generator in trunk is going to be interesting.
So far, colors and text styles, etc. can be modified, for existing themes. coaboa: cool. chibaguy: But it's still a work in progress.
I think it will be good for making variants of current themes.
(at least) coaboa: but builder.yaml.de would let you change everything column order, extra header teaser tabs etc... You should try it ;-) chibaguy: yes, I should (and will when there is time). coaboa: its a matter of seonds to understand the concept as it is totally webbased chibaguy: ok :)
ok, I see how it can be used to create a web layout, etc. I suppose the author would make a static page with it, and then edit that by adding statements to load the Tiki site content.
