RobertPlummer: Are you asking if quotes are required for plugin arguments?
I think only if they have spaces.
I got about 90% done with the parser, because v2 of codemirror started, and it had much of what was needed to complete the last 10%. ***: chealer has quit IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer)

chealer has joined #tikiwiki chealer: RobertPlummer: yes, that's what I was asking. OK then, it would be good to fix at some point RobertPlummer: It is just difficult from the parser to know very easily their way.
I talked to the guys at codemirror and I told them they should use an actual language parser.
He said they would be too large, but I think it is still probably the better way to go, but I'm just a lowly developer.
It would be much easier to detect things like that. chealer: right RobertPlummer: Is there still interest to integrate doctrine in tiki?
I think it'd be a real winner.
Can someone explain why it wouldn't be a replacement for trackers?
I think it could probably do everything they are doing. ***: Wilkins has quit IRC (Read error: Operation timed out) chealer: RobertPlummer: I don't know. I think it was designed to facilitate development of websites, not necessarily as a part of database software, maybe it wouldn't be performant RobertPlummer: good point.
I guess I just assumed it was really fast. chealer: RobertPlummer: it's not a replacement per se; it could be used by trackers though
I don't know, it may be ***: Wilkins has joined #tikiwiki luciash: iirc the license was not maybe compatible ? RobertPlummer: In sugarcrm data is stored as tables for their "trackers" (modules), do you think that at some point we could store data in a similar way in tiki?
as tables....
tiki_tracker_#tracker-name#
and the fields delete, move, update, just like a table does.
One of the real concerns of myn is that trackers will essentially always be slow if they are stored the way they are unless they are changed somehome on a grand scale.
Especially with large data sets. ***: Caarrie|away is now known as Caarrie|sleeping

Funny case (should be consigned in some memories); i had to edit on an external computer (not at office) my lang customs.php. The editor saved it in utf-8 with bom instead of utf-8. All the website was working fine, including the translated string, BUT images where prohibited to anonymous (header error displayed only if you point to the url of an image). jonnyb: Bernard1: yes, BOMs in php files mess things up in intriguing ways ;)

i've got an issue with a new 6.3 install
im trying to put togther an annonymous menu, but when i go to assign said menu tiki-admin_modules.php#assign it loads a blank page Tiki|bot: New Forum Posts: Classified posting work (5856) - http://tiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=3&comments_parentId=41225 luciash: radek82: looks like memory issue radek82: luciash :(
advice?
i think i set 128 mb luciash: increase it
hmm, 128 should be more than enough
enable php error reporting jonnyb: radek82: might be an error in your user (custom) module? radek82: ok, that gives me a start point :) lemme enable error reporting and double check my module
lol
would you believe that i enabled error reporting, went to try it again and it worked :P
i think its the memory issue, time to bug my sysadmin for more ram :P
thanks guys :)
im running more then a few instances of tiki on this server, and i think the 128 is shared across em all luciash: sometimes the error reporting helps to render the page instead of WSOD jonnyb: what does the php error say? luciash: but still, the error should be fixed radek82: checking now luciash: radek82: btw, u can enable error reporting only for admins radek82: luciash, yep, thats how i set it
ill pastebin errors in 1 sec
http://pastebin.com/Hs4fTEGW
definately some errors jonnyb: looks like an error in your "evaluated template" (i.e. the user module source - missing bracket or something?) radek82: checking now
seems ok {menu id=43 css=y type= }
type is fixed should it be type=f?
or vert
yep, errors gone, now just those 2 notices left
should i worry about those?
Undefined index: assign_params luciash: type= is either horiz or vert jonnyb: because anon will get WSoD if you only show errors to admins
(check it works as anonymous obviously) radek82: works :) thanks guys ***: changi|away has joined #tikiwiki CIA-87: tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r34386 10/branches/7.x/lib/modules/tiki-admin_modules.js: [FIX] modules: Warn about lost module positioning changes ***: changi|away has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 240 seconds)
