Bernard2: the fix in question only concerned ldap.php. that being said, there is no warranty that version of ldap.php will be compatible with the rest
chealer: Mmm i believe it has been tested (you?) before release. I have right some troubles with an LDAP AD connection and i'm gonna try to do it using Edirectory from Novell because of security concern. So i prefer to get to my customer with all the updated files in hand.

when I edit a module - the box of the preview goes over the button assign - so I am not able to modify the module - the preview box should not reat to the mouseover...
the module preview - should not have a certain class I suppose

can anybody tell me if the filegals are specific to a server when the option to store the files only in the DB is set? ie: I have a filegal on my dev server filled with the info the customer wanted, if I transfer the complete site on his server, none of the images from the filegal are displayed.

check the two in phpmyadmin to see how they are connecting
it's probably the my.cnf type settings on one of the other - in theory the converter shouldn't touch "files"

using tiki 6.3, when I select "login with CAS", I get the cas screen, put my username/password, and validate the form. Then the tiki-login.php page is called and never returned
afeter a few research, it seems that it's session_start in lib/core/Zend/Session.php which never returns

I have set a "date and time" field in a tracker and have "Column is searchable" checked, however, it is not in the list of searchable items.  Is there anything that would limit a date/time field from being searchable ?
RavenC: date/time is a number in the database (seconds since 1974 or something)
the field detail is date and time - dt,2011,,empty
might be fixed in 7.x with the new unified search

trying to fix http://doc.tiki.org/Pretty+Tracker following the doc upgrade. in the green form, the radio boxes name changed from track_121 to ins_121, why would that be?
all tracker input field names seem to have been renamed from track_xx to ins_xx
because before each different type of field had a different name - was a nightmare

chealer: I agree with you that these create more work for translators. But I have the impression that this is necessary (not sure, learning a lot about i18n these days :)). My point is that having longer strings might be better because short strings can have different meanings in different contexts and the order they appear in other languages my be different from the order in English.

chealer: gettext manual has a section called "preparing strings". there they suggest that they should be split by paragraph.
there has to be a balance between more flexible translations and more work for translators IMO.
