good afternoon and polom to all ... i'm wondering about permissions.  scenario:  user has access to only one category of file.  user is in group with custom homepage which displays list of files in the category.  there is no other access to any part of the cms, including no profile.  Possible?

You should create a category, and give perms to that category
and put all the stuff in it
and test to make sure you set everything properly
