Then you just need to upgrade the database following the release notes tnrr: ok i will read up on this more and thanx for taking the time to talk to me! ***: tnrr has quit IRC (Quit: Page closed)

you could probably do with a plugin alias or pluginhtml as well, but real plugins are cleaner than pluginhtml and simpler than aliases, sadly CIA-88: tikiwiki: 03chibaguy * r34949 10/users/chibaguy/trunk_themes/themes/ (15 files in 8 dirs): [NEW] Smooth and Underground themes updated (trunk compatibiity) SJ-Jay: okay.. will have a look at it :) CIA-88: tikiwiki: 03chibaguy * r34950 10/mods/trunk/themes/ (smooth_tiki_7/ underground_tiki_7/): [NEW] Smooth and Underground theme files for Tiki 7. ***: nkoth has joined #tikiwiki CIA-88: tikiwiki: 03lphuberdeau * r34951 10/trunk/ (2 files in 2 dirs): [ENH] Report error on file upload failure ***: overseer has joined #tikiwiki overseer: hi all, i need some help ***: rodrigo_sampaio1 has joined #tikiwiki overseer: is there a way to make it so user's can't create their own accounts, but they do have to register?

But I haven't used it so am not sure of the details. overseer: chibaguy: yeah, i tried it, but my problem is that it looks like you have to also enable
"users can register"
which i dont want chibaguy: hmm overseer: got another issue im working on simultaneously

it doesnt work on mine lphuberdeau: did you map to your own tracker field ids? overseer: do i just need to replace the 12 with a real number?
from my tracker? lphuberdeau: yeah overseer: then yes
but it just appears on the page as {$f_6}
is it supposed to replace it right now? lphuberdeau: on the template page, that's normal overseer: oh ok lphuberdeau: you'll see a difference when you get a tracker plugin to use that page as a template overseer: ok
so then i just do something like this?:
{HTML()} <table> <tr><th>First Name</th></tr> <tr><td>{$f_6}</td></tr> </table> {HTML} lphuberdeau: nope
you need to use {TRACKER}
oh, still in your template?
then I guess that would work overseer: yes

i tried with and without nkoth: overseer, yes you need the HTML for the html to work overseer: nkoth: thanks...any other ideas on how to make it work? it displays correctly on that page, but it's not changing the tracker nkoth: oh you mean it shows ok but it's not saving? overseer: well, it's showing the correct formatting for the template page, but it doesnt carry over to the tracker nkoth: you mean the page where the {TRACKER} plugin is
what is your TRACKER plugin syntax? overseer: and here: tiki-view_tracker.php?trackerId=1
wait, is this supposed to be changing the tracker input or output...i want to change how the tables display lphuberdeau: it does not change how the standard tracker interfaces behave overseer: does it change {trackerlist}? nkoth: yes, it changes {trackerlist} but you have to specify the "wiki" param lphuberdeau: those templates affect the plugin where you use them, nothing else nkoth: also, overseer, if you want to change the "view" interface of tiki-view_tracker.php using pretty trackers, yu can specify this in the tracker settings
There is a setting labelled "Wiki page to display an item" in tiki-admin_trackers.php?trackerId=1 overseer: yeah, i specified thaat nkoth: elt me try on my site
ok I see
it works for me overseer: lemme go through it with you. nkoth: once you click on one of the items, you go to tiki-view_tracker_item.php?itemId=xxxx
and you will see that item displayed in the template wiki page
what do you have in the Wiki page to display an item" setting overseer: wiki:Employee Contact Info Output TPL
which is the name of the page. nkoth: ok, when you click on an item in tiki-view_tracker.php?trackerId=1, do you see the item? overseer: h.o...when i clicked on an item, it did bring up some wierd looking stuff nkoth: what kind of weird looking stuff? ***: chealer has joined #tikiwiki overseer: um, basically just a small bit of html with no formatting

there ya go
that's my tpl page

thats my trackerlist syntax nkoth: try {TRACKERLIST(trackerId="1" showlinks="y" wiki="Employee Contact Info Output TPL") /}
if that does not work, try without the style part in your template overseer: ok, i replaced it and now it displays a blank page
bingo!
but now how do i get it to not display the variables at the top of each entry nkoth: what variables? overseer: the {$f_#} things
are they needed for the tpl to be interpretted correctly? nkoth: doesn't it get replaced bu the actual value ie. the Name etc?
{$f_6} should be replaced by the value of the First Name of the item in the tracker overseer: ok, i think i understand ***: Jyhem_laptop_ has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 276 seconds)

I need some help with ldap, any takers?
I have a system that I'm migrating from 2.10 to 6.3, and I've kept all the credentials that same, is there anyway to test it out, or debug? rodrigo_sampaio: RobertPlummer: I never used ldap before, so I can't help. but I know that chealer has some experience with ldap + tiki :) RobertPlummer: chealer: you there? really, purely debugging experience
RobertPlummer: did you see the "Write LDAP debug Information in Tiki Logs" preference?
http://doc.tiki.org/LDAP+authentication
RobertPlummer: IIUC your problem is LDAP authentication doesn't work after upgrading from 1.10 to 6? RobertPlummer: 2.10 to 6.3, right chealer: RobertPlummer: there wa no 2.10 :-) RobertPlummer: Does "Create user if not in LDAP " work yet? chealer: RobertPlummer: no RobertPlummer: If not, that would be the issue.
Ah!
Why not, it seems pretty easy?
2.10 did exist.
chealer? chealer: RobertPlummer: in that case you'll want to add a few entries to http://tiki.org/All+releases :-)
but Tiki 2 was supposed to be 1.10 RobertPlummer: So chealer , if auto create user doesn't exist, how would you import the user isn't tiki? chealer: RobertPlummer: frankly except for redflo and sylvieg1, few people worked on LDAP, and mostly a while ago
RobertPlummer: what? RobertPlummer: How am I supposed to get my users from ldap to tiki? chealer: RobertPlummer: if we were serious on LDAP we'd be using Zend_Ldap, not Net::LDAP2 ***: rodrigo_sampaio has quit IRC (Quit: Leaving.) RobertPlummer: ok

ok, nm, ignore me RobertPlummer: I guess I will just investigate that part, any pointers would be greatly appreciated. nkoth: I thought you were talking about the reverse
(which works) chealer: RobertPlummer: either you create them manually or you set the first preference to "Create user"
("Create user if not in Tiki") RobertPlummer: Right, that is what I was asking worked.
So it does?
