I've still a problem with the view of my calendar. I put the calendar on the left column (miniview) and when I add a event it is displayed with title and some other information.
But thought it will displayed as a number (date) which is highlighted as a link to the week view. Can someone help me? ***: jonnyb has joined #tikiwiki FridayGER: hi jonnyb: hi FridayGER FridayGER: hi jonnyb ***: FridayGER has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 252 seconds)

FridayGER has joined #tikiwiki FridayGER: ok. I've a problem with the view of the calander.
I put it to left column as miniview. If I add an event it will be shown with some details in the minicalander too.
I expected an linked number (date). How can I do it?
Now, the field of date wherein the event is placed, increase and it looks like an destroyed table. jonnyb: FridayGER: sorry, i don't understand - do you have anything complicated in the event description or title? (i.e. try a simple "test" one) FridayGER: No, i tried it with a simple "Test" as title and "test" as description. jonnyb: is it a public site? do you want me to look at it? FridayGER: No, it isn't. But let me give you an admin account. One moment. ***: Jyhem_laptop_ has joined #tikiwiki FridayGER: ok. the url is www.neuebeek.de
your username and paswd is jonnyb jonnyb: ok, checking FridayGER FridayGER: thanks jonnyb: what tiki version is this? 6.something?
have you customised anything - calendar module seems fine on my site with that theme
ok, found it - seems to be on 7.x someone's broken it - bleh FridayGER: ??? what do you mean? I don't customize anything - I think. And yes its versiion 7.x
Is it a bug on 7.x jonnyb: yes, seems to be - investigating...
looks like it's also in 7.1RC1 so good to catch it before the final release! FridayGER: And I thought this version were an final release :-)
were <-> was chealer: FridayGER: you... fix the thing :-)
(it's a known regression, see http://dev.tiki.org/Tiki7#Regressions_and_others ) FridayGER: yeah, I'll get it! :-) I'm happy - when I read the code - when I understand the context of it.
ok, so the result of it for me is to wait for fix? chealer: FridayGER: indeed, unless you want to use a version without the bug or get it fixed. ***: Jyhem_laptop_ has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 276 seconds) FridayGER: to fix it I've to learn php, isn't it? chealer: FridayGER: you do have to know some of Tiki's technologies if you want to fix it yourself. this is a display bug, maybe it's just HTML/JavaScript.
FridayGER: you could also hire someone else to do it, or contribute to the fix by filing a bug report and/or identifying exactly when the bug was introduced.
bbl jonnyb: hi chealer - i'm having a look at it now, seems like a pref has gone missing... ***: Jyhem_laptop_ has joined #tikiwiki FridayGER: ok, many thanks to all, who has spent time on it. I think I trie to fix it by myself. That would be an adventure .... . I think the first thing I do is to backup my site :-)
