Hi. I want to load the "Company_Intranet_8x" profile but it shows only "An error occured during the profile validation. This profile cannot be applied. Message: Invalid URI supplied". Is there another way to load that profile?
when do you get that message?
(I can't test on 8.x... I only have trunk installs handy) seems to validate for me
I go to the Profile function , list all the available profiles for 8.x from profiles.tiki.org (there are 10) and then I select the "Company_Intranet_8x" 
which version of tiki are you running?
it apears "Loading Profile" and then it shows the content of "http://profiles.tiki.org/Company_Intranet_8x".. above that frame the error message is displayed
I have downloaded today... so 8.1
sorry, I just don't have an environment to confirm this... the message seems to come from Zend...
is there perhaps another way to load that profile (e.g. local copy of that profile) ?
not really, moving profiles around is quite a challenging task
what platform are you running tiki on?

mark_doe: I was assuming that 8.1 was the latest version but it is not. you should try to upgrade to 8.2 instead. the issue you reported has been fixed already.

4 weeks ago a site gave incredible results and I could not neither login (even reset login admin in db), neither obviously change anything else than acting directly in db, but elements where not changed into tracks. Three day ago again. I found text data in the "feature_custom_center_column_header" (I had recently changed because the old syntax I used in  -smarty -was no more accepted) that was from an old version 7.0x. Other data of $prefs where wrong, but it is more easy to try to understand how this data come from "nowhere", from where. I could find them into old caches (I keep old versions).
So the lonely explication is that data are got from old caches. But why by which soft. I am there in my search there are 7 occurrences valid ( 6 in old temp/cache and 1 in module/cache for my 8.1 current into 9Go of data) I cleared the cache of the current site, but I get always the bad data... for $prefs. 
Sure that I will make a tracker but I wish to begin here. Sorry for the length, it comes from the problem
