Hello, I would like to use a computed tracker field to automatically compute how many months passed since a date entered in another field (e.g. 2011-01-01). The problem I am facing is that the result is converted to a date, but I need it to stay a numerical, so I can show e.g. 14. I would appreciate any ideas. newby: joined #tikiwiki banseljaj: joined #tikiwiki rodrigoprimo: joined #tikiwiki Tiki|bot: New Forum Posts: How to put a Dynamic Filter - http://tiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=2&comments_parentId=43526 RobertPlummer: polom all Jyhem: joined #tikiwiki Jyhem_laptop: joined #tikiwiki radek82: joined #tikiwiki Beestje: joined #tikiwiki tehMati: joined #tikiwiki
I have a question. I am running the tiki-install.php script, and it works until it gets to the database connection bit, and then throws me a 500 server error. thoughts? I think, I asked that before - is the MIT Licence compatible with the LGPL - can we integrate code that is under the MIT?

I think, I asked that before - is the MIT Licence compatible with the LGPL - can we integrate code that is under the MIT? ricks99_: see tiki.org/License
seems mit is ok to include with tiki fabricius: I am on this presentations stuff since three days or so
marc asked me to put some stuff on the tiki pages
but the different software sems not really working as weel as I would hope
and dizzy.js seems not to be developed since may 2011
but it has MIT and I am checking if a Tiki SVN would work in dizzy.js and backwards
c ya later
btw: MIT is cool, we can use it

Hello All
I'm a new user and have studied all revelant docs but have yet to understand the way tiki renders the html pages
Specifically I wish to alter the header using images but don't know how to locate the php file responsible for the rendering of the "index" page.
just a pointer in the right direction would be appreciated
Using tiki 8.3.- .tikinewt theme NachoMahma: Have you looked at tiki-index.php? Robert__: Aye, what specifically was I supposed to look for? NachoMahma: I dunno. Depends on what you want to do. Robert__: I understand tpl mods are descouraged because of update issues
What has me most confused is the method of changing the various boxes ie header, top, top-page etc.
The idea is to keep the functionality of the header but replace the logo with custom images and move the "Title" "subtitle" around NachoMahma: You may have to muck around with the CSS files, but I'm new to TikiWiki, so I can't be a lot of help. :( Robert__: Thx Nacho...I've been a-mucking a mucking lot :) NachoMahma: heehee
IIRC, a lot of the CSS files are in the /styles directory Robert__: I've picked apart layout.css, design.css and lite.css as well as the theme .css and to no avail NachoMahma: You're way ahead of me already Robert__: That's why I thought I would comee in here and ask the masters ;) NachoMahma: _I_ am not one of The Masters. Maybe one will come along before too long Robert__: I still think it is a tpl issue but these types of ?'s aren't covered in the docs...which incidently are a bit sparse NachoMahma: I'd call the docs "spotty" - they can be very good at times and at other times almost worthless
You can change the logo image name in one of the Admin panels, but I don't remember which one. Robert__: General
under "look and feel NachoMahma: Yeah! I changed mine to "img/custom/obdiiconnector.gif" and uploaded the graphic to the /img/custom dir Robert__: I'm looking through more docs as we type...therefore the delay
ok anyone know then where I can find a listing of which templates render which pages>
