tikiwiki Usability: when viewing someone else's profile, don't show links to one's own prifile. tikiwiki By default, on new blog creation, no longer make them searchable by default. Most sites have global search engine which can handle this.

tikiwiki Turn nice blog & article SEFURLs on by defaut (but only active when SEFURLs are globally activated gour: not it reports it cannot connect to the db

http://dev.tiki.org/URL+Rewriting+Revamp gour: marclaporte1: thanks a lot for 'tyding' it up ;)
marclaporte1: now i do not know whether to wait & help to make it happen or still work on separate rewrite rules for Hiawatha which could become obsolete soon? marclaporte1: don't stop
these things take time
especially to do it once and for all gour: have you seen/read my message about problem of tiki running behind reverse-proxy?
ok, i'll work on hiawatha rules.. arildb: joined #tikiwiki

http://dev.tiki.org/Reverse+proxy gour: marclaporte: thank you. my 'fix' is trivial, but not proper
marclaporte: in my case, i'm using tiki behind reverse-proxy out of pure need, not at all performance Phoebus_: joined #tikiwiki lindonb: joined #tikiwiki marclaporte: joined #tikiwiki
gour: what you did: will it work for a performance setup? gour: marclaporte: http://pastebin.com/hSJgSuxN is my workaround in lib/setup/absolute_urls.php
marclaporte: but that's not correct if tiki does not run behind reverse-proxy and non-80 port
some code to detect running behind reverse-proxy is required sandroandrade: joined #tikiwiki
joined #tikiwiki Phoebus: joined #tikiwiki marclaporte: gour: why detect? Why not just a pref in the admin panel? arildb: joined #tikiwiki marclaporte: Site admins will know this, no? USlacker: joined #tikiwiki gour: marclaporte: well, there are two problems...1) installation of tiki with the server behind reverse-proxy will yield the following URL: http://tld:localport/ which makes the installation broken right out-of-the box 2) even after managing to enter admin back-end and attempting to change pref in the panel, tiki was always reverting back to the original port number where the local server is running. as you can
see from the snippet which i pasted, the detection does not involve reverse-proxy an the: $prefs['http_port'] = (int) $_SERVER['SERVER_PORT']; line is not correct in such case
