matoc: I don't suppose anyone here has experience connecting Tiki with Kolab's implementation of OpenLDAP? I'm having a heck of a time.
I don't suppose anyone here has experience connecting Tiki with Kolab's implementation of OpenLDAP? I'm having a heck of a time.
Some background: I've been successfull in connecting ownCloud's authentication with the existing OpenLDAP service, and as far as I can tell the php ldap.c module is loaded. The tiki logs simply give me credential errors with various configurations I've tried... the online documentation has not been helpfull so far.

The only clue I have is that I don't think the user is being found. After enabling anomymous access on OpenLDAP and anonymous bind in Tiki, I get the error "Search Returned 0 entries" when a user attemps to log in, this is after the "Bind failed" error.

matoc: I've modified the ldap.php tiki file and added the Directory Manager credentials there directly and can now bind with those, but users still get credentials invalide errors. the dirsv log shows err=49 too.

I think there's a problem with how tiki is passing the password to OpenLDAP.
