fabricius: try out for a walk or I could use my new tablet
With keyboard: I try out, for what I could use my new tablet
I want to setup one or a few handy miniserver(s) at home and later in the web and I want to use an Android tablet as slim light mobile client
atm testing with a nonexpensive 7'' , but I see already, that I needed a 10'' or 11 '' and a keyboard
jonnyb: not a laptop then? ;)
luciash: you about really?
(polom)
fabricius: I have a laptop and will need it further ... but kind of an ultra mobile client, what gives me access to the most important spots .. something, which I put under my arms when I walk to a cafe in town and what I put in my bakpack, when I go cycling for a week ...
... but then still access to all emails (best via VPN) and servers (ssh)
and with VPN access to my laptop at home
I had some ideas, but recently Frank (fmg) did inspire me bigtime and I said: what the f*** Torsten, you have Linux, just start to use it
jonnyb: fair enough
fabricius: So I am learning for the next dimension of personal mobility now

tikiwiki [FIX][bp/r46139] Add post in the correct blog
fabricius: I have a device in my hand now, which has the size half of the screen of my subnotebook, that allows me to chat IRC, to login to my server via SSH and install a tiki or whatever there, etc. And it has a browser that allows me to do some editing on websites, when needed. I find that quite cool, even as 7''is definitely too small .... anyway it is usable (instead of smartphone)

Jyhem: hi jonnyb & fabricius
-: Jyhem thinks he now understands jonny's woes with committing on Allura
jonnyb: polom Jyhem
it usually goes in eventually
Jyhem: I found the "svn: Couldn't perform atomic initialization" → try again → "svn: Couldn't perform atomic initialization" → try again → success!
:-(
exactly. "eventually" :-(
jonnyb: i've had errors about commits failing, but sometimes they did commit ok, which then makes a little conflict - so much fun! :)
Jyhem: Ohhh, I haven't gone that far yet. Just committed and merging
-: Jyhem should have know more fun was incoming
jonnyb: i'm getting that "atomic initialization" on svn up now on 11.x - oh joy!

arildb: Hi, I am adding a case about the nested plugin problem in Tiki 11. As seen in the group plugin on the start page. However, something is very wrong. cCopy paste doesn't work. The URL link tool produces incorrect results.
I notice that the last update is Last update from SVN (11.0svn): Friday 31 of May, 2013 11:30:04 EDT - REV 46122 (MyISAM)
Should a new update be done?
Both Copy & Paste + the URL link tool work fine on my local installation. I am on the latest trunk
ah...I am on trunk...testing again on Tiki 11
yes, the latest Tiki 11 works fine too (locally on my machine)
So, http://demo.tiki.org/11x should be updated with the latest Tiki 11 code.
Anybody?

arildb: Hi jonnyb
jonnyb: hi arildb
just replying to your mail
arildb_: joined #tikiwiki
...hm-m lost by connection briefly
jonnyb: if you answered during my timeout, can you please paste the answer again
jonnyb: have replied to your mail
arildb_: jonnyb: ok, thanks
jonnyb: i don't think nested plugins ever got parsed
arildb_: that could be. I guess they should be. They are in wiki mode
jonnyb: it's always a very fragile part of the wysiwyg - i'm planning to replace the current "visual" rendering of the plains apart from img with a more graphic view of the plugin
arildb: ok. So, so maybe best leave it for now
jonnyb: then we can use a simple ckeditor "fake object" which you can then drag around and edit properly
arildb: sounds good
jonnyb: some sort of collapsible span where you'll be able to see and hopefully edit nested plugins
arildb: ok
jonnyb: and images will then also be resizable and draggable etc
by the way, your plugin arg encoding fix does look like it's needed in 11.x - i get the same iframe double encoding without it
arildb: should I backport?
jonnyb: i'm just scared of commits involving encoding during the release process ;)
let's test a bit more to be sure there are no unintended saide-effects
arildb: The fix does a html_entity_decode. I believe you can do as many as you want of those, and I doubt anything is relying on the encoding error...but errors are creative. ...yes, we can test some more though
I tested in Tiki 9, and the nested plugin error is there too
jonnyb: i've back ported it to my local 11.x so will play with it some
arildb: jonnyb: sounds good :-)
jonnyb: thanks
off now, more tomorrow
arildb: http://demo.tiki.org/wysiwyg-wiki is on Tiki version: Last update from SVN (11.0svn): Tuesday 21 of May, 2013 18:54:29 UTC - REV 46024 (MyISAM)
that's pretty old
The CkEditor4 problem, described on demo's wysiwyg-html installation, "Paste to WYSIWYG-Wiki becomes undefined" seems solved in newer versions
