re-polom y'all
[12:53]
jonnybre-hi ricks99
xavi and i were discussing the best terminology for "wiki" editor vs "wysiwyg" in non-techie terms
i think "plain" vs "rich" is fairly commonly understood here...
[12:56]
ricks99i like wiki markup vs. wysiwyg. plain and rich aren't very descriptive. [12:58]
xavibut there is something else: if they choose "wiki", wysiwyg will not be enabled. However, if they choose "wysiwyg", in the next screen they will be able to indicate that wysiwyg is (or not) the default editor, which makes that selection as "wiki" editor by default but with wysiwyg enable forr those with permissions [12:58]
jonnybbut wysiwyg uses wiki markup [12:58]
xavithat's why the word "only" or similar should be indicated in the "plain" option [12:59]
jonnybso really you're asking "disable wysiwyg" or allow it? [12:59]
xaviyes, kind of, but for people that don't know what "wysiwyg" is [12:59]
jonnybso how about - wysiwyg: disable or configure?
they shouldn't be tiki admins then ;)
[12:59]
xavihe he :-) [13:00]
ricks99y. wiki syntax is always an option. it is wysiwyg that is being enalbed/disabled [13:00]
jonnybwe're not talking about "users" here [13:00]
xavianyway, that was the rationale I deduced from the code from arildb [13:00]
jonnybexacto ricks99 - disable or configure makes sense here [13:00]
ricks99+1 [13:01]
jonnybmaybe add a not about what wysiwyg means if you think necessary [13:01]
xaviok, go ahead if you see it clear, then [13:01]
