using 12.x, editing a wiki page in wysiwyg mode, I wonder why I can't see the button to switch editor back to wiki syntax (that use has tiki_p_admin, and in a group where the perm to switch editor is also granted)
equivalent issue with the button to edit toolbars
and no help button either, even if that might be intended, becuase that 12.x has set wysiwyg using html (and not wikisyntax) by default -: xavi still thinks that wysiwyg should be in Experimental.... (in the filters for admin panels) xavi: s/that use has tiki_p_admin/that user has tiki_p_admin jonnyb: joined #tikiwiki

hi xavi - re your wysiwyg switch button thing - do you have wysiwyg is optional pref enabled?
re http://irc.tiki.org/irclogger_log/tikiwiki?date=2014-04-15,Tue&sel=28#l24 xavi: yes -: jonnyb thought so jonnyb: let me check locally - i only use it in wiki mode these days (but that shouldn't make a difference to this) xavi: yes, that's what I normally do (wiki mode only), but some users of some production sites seem lazy to learn wiki syntax and preffer html, it seems jonnyb: help button and switch editor button both show on my local test
i don't think the edit toolbar button ever made it to wysiwyg yet... xavi: ok, then somehow, some config settings make the switch editor button not show up in the toolbar when it should jonnyb: are those buttons there in toolbars admin? xavi: do you want to see it reproduced in the production site? (maybe you can grasp where the issue might be; maybe global/local perms issue, or who knows) jonnyb: if not try resetting them? (maybe, if not too constimused)
ok, can have a quick look xavi: yes, buttons are in toolbars admin
ok, see pm
fyi, no categ perms used in the site (to reduce unneded complexity) xavi2: joined #tikiwiki Tiki|bot: joined #tikiwiki xavi2: ok, for the record: it was some edge case. Luckily sorted out the issue in that production site (was able to force the switch in the editor thanks to adding the suffix to the url: &mode_normal=y xavi: thks jonnyb jonnyb: glad to help xavi Tiki-KGB: 03jonnybradley r50805 10branches/12.x/templates/blog_post_postbody_content.tpl

any insight would be welcome, if anyone can offer some fabricius: right now I can just give you a few links, but you might have seen them before anyway:

actually you would have to use google or so to find out more ... or write to the dev-list and hope to find a developer or admin who uses LDAP Trebly_: joined #tikiwiki

hello is it possible with trackers to have some nested dropdowns, but in the end with automatic asignments? for example hardware, software, depending on what you choose to be able to select PC, Notes in the first case, OS, Office in the second; but AFTER the selection, after the second selection to automatically complete a text field and a use field? trying to build a ticketing system?
read everything, but the dynamic items list doesn't go deeper than a first level, and I get all kind of weird results
better explained: i have categories, subcategories, and to subcategories i have some priority (automatically assigned) and a user also (automatically assigned) does this make any sense? how can I achieve that?
but - do not want (it is a very long list) all the categories from tiki, but some dropdowns to narrow down the options fabricius: Hi fakemoth lukeg1: joined #tikiwiki fakemoth: hello again :) fabricius: you might have a look at the wishlist/bugtracker at dev.tiki.org maybe you find an example there
I mean, the wishlist is a tracker itself fakemoth: ies but it doesn't have nested dropdowns, drilled down dropdowns
*yes :)
any ideea how to do that? fabricius: conditional dropdowns? fakemoth: yes - but after that to automatically select 2 other options: a time to intervene (a number) and a predefined user wich should take care of the problem fabricius: auto-e-mail to a specific user conditional to a selected category? fakemoth: that also but it should be assigned to that problem permanently, adn an admin will just assign the problem to another user if it is not available
so how deep can one go, and between how many trackers with the dynamic items list? how many trackers do I need? for this scenario?
anyone, or should I call it a night? And also if you can take a look here with the LDAP issue it will be wonderfull https://tiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_parentId=51777&topics_offset=1 fabricius: fakemoth: on the phone right now marclaporte: joined #tikiwiki fakemoth: shall i try tomorrow again guys?
