Hello there. I have a question: Is it possible to have a dashboard on the homepage with all recent activities in the website (like a dashboard)?

If Sam___ comes back, I was about to say there's an action log feature (https://doc.tiki.org/Logs).

Oh, I got the right number of underbars the first time, looks like.

This option seems to be there already, but it shows up in the wrong place. If you look in the home page of a tiki page, you'll see a small box stating "what's new since your last visit"
but this has to go to the homepage after login... not in that box

[MOD] composer package updates ("twitter/bootstrap": "3.3.2", "fortawesome/font-awesome": "4.3.0", "smarty/smarty": "3.1.21"). Seems like smarty path has changed, so modified related json line in composer.json. I have not noticed any issue about this yet.
Hello. I have a website where there are 3 groups of users (call them g1, g2 and g3) meant to be bound by categories c1, c2 and c3. My problem is that even though I set the default category for a group (say g1) to be c1, a new wiki page will not be bound to any category. How can I fix it such that every user from the group g1 will have everything related to him assigned to category c1?
Jyhem - If you are there: I have some isses with the permission system. I debugged for 8+ hours and have an idea of how it works. My issue is: If i create a tracker and use a field of type "category" and give proper permissions, the permissions are not assiged and the trackeritem is saved without a category defined. I debugged through roughly 15+ functions and see where it fails - but i cannot actually fix it.
The permission stuff with factories, resolver, magic methods etc. is not easy to read / debug and there are ver few comments. So some help is apreciated.
Sam: I see what you mean - You can try setting a default category in the user group setting. Still do not know wther this will work.
If you go to user management, click on assign groups, you can also set a default group.
No
i mean you can assign one or more groups AND you can on top set a DEFAULT group for each user
I did set default group, but that didn't help...
I forced wiki pages to have groups, and now users can't save pages anymore because they don't have access to groups
sorry I mean they don't have access to view categories
hello?
I am sorry but i have no further idea - maybe someone else, being more fimilar with the permission system, can help. As a last resourt - try giveing permissions like: tiki_p_group_view or tiki_p_modify_object_categories
How can I let a user choose a category for a wiki page? It appears that users don't have this choice normally. The option tiki_p_view_category doesn't seem to do it. Please assist!
Thanks, I'll check that.
It doesn't work, still! A user doesn't have access to categories with those enabled.
I had to set those permissions from global. It works. Thanks.
