   <br> My guess, since it looks to be an auto-magic translation, I guess there is something in the *code* (maybe a parser somewhere ?), not in the translation files
   fabricius: I know where the language files are ( /lang/fr/language.php and if you use database translation after first usage: /lang/fr/custom.php ) But I have no clear idea where it is processed - you want to change the translation or to change the type of processing?
   olinuxx: I'm using a tweak not be entrapped by the auto-magical translation. My question is much more about curiosity. Thanks anyway :)

   chibaguy: hi chahn :-). I think maybe the maketoc syntax isn't so popular now, because there's a new automatic page table of contents. But I haven't used either of them much lately.
