   fabricius: bolow Jyhem, I do not think, that you use double time, as France is located in the same time zone as Germany ... our time zone is UTC +1 equals CET and Summertime is CET +1
   <br> UK has UTC +0 equals GMT and in WW II they added one our war time to the whole year plus summer time, which brought them to the exact same tie zone than ours and that they called "double summer time"
   <br> so summertime in UK is UTC +1 = GMT +1 nd in WW II is was UTC +2 = GMT +2
   <br> France and Germany never had CET +2 if I am not wrong
   <br> just for the record ;-)
   Jyhem: Look at the map: Paris and London are practically on the same meridien. So, when you compare to sun-time, Paris is +1/+2
