Hello. Anybody home ?
I'm looking for a feature in a wiki and so far I have had no luck. I call this feature "extendable data structures" but who knows what someone else would call it. I will try and explain what I need below.
I would like to be able to have a template of sorts that allows me to fill in the blanks for a bunch of parameters. However, when I modify the original template (such as adding more parameters) I need any page that is currently using that template to be modified to match.
I need such auto-modified pages to be flagged as modified (so that I can find the ones I need to fill in new blanks for).

I made sure I had all the required modules installed for 15.x per the doc.to page
Everything is set to UTF-8 in every place I can find
my php.ini has default_charset = "utf-8" present but tiki-check.php claims it doesn't
I've changed the case and removed the quotes, restarting apache and reloading the check page. Doesn't matter how I format that line, the check script fails

I found a couple of other settings that might help including one in .htaccess but it still doesn't work
browser's get-info function says the page is encoded in utf-8 -: panamaus shrugs panamaus: all I get are the little boxes with code numbers in them instead of icons
oh well, I guess I'll beat my head against this wall some more on Monday

And I like especially the "moving" background images (which seems to be made with a java script). chibaguy: yes, there are both javascript and css effects for movement. fabricius: my thought is that I need a secific layout_tpl for a one-pager wiki page ... right thinking?
my approach right now is to take out the left and right columns and to full-width the content part of the wiki page
for the full-width background colors of the fixed-width pages
but then it get's a bit comlicated to create the page with wiki syntax - a lot of {DIV()}s
are you doing it this way aswell, or maybe just all directly in the html template or even different? chibaguy: Whether you can use a standard layout tpl depends on the details. It can be possible but maybe it's easier to make a custom tpl. fabricius: my concern is the full-width backgroud areas for fixed-width page sections chibaguy: This page: http://demo.zukathemes.com/Happy+Scroll uses a standard layout template.
But it doesn't have an offcanvas menu.
The page's full-width background images are done by adding divs in the wiki for container and row, etc.
this page: http://zukathemes.com/HomePage uses a customized layout template, but maybe it's possible to use a standard tpl. I didn't figure that out yet.
Anyway, Happy Scroll will be released pretty soon as a theme. fabricius: But the page (site for this page) seems to be based on fixed-width chibaguy: Yes but the container div width is reset to 100% where necessary for the full-width backgrounds. fabricius: so are you using full width and then limit any element bar the background, or are you starting fixed width and kind of "brake out" of the full-width for the backgrounds?
