chibaguy: Hi amette_
jonnyb: hi chibaguy and amette_ and all
chibaguy: hi jonnyb and all
amette_: heya jonnyb and all of course
chibaguy: Finally got a clean compile of tiki_base.scss and Default theme scss. :-)
jonnyb: woot woot! nice work chibaguy! :)
chibaguy: (By cheating a bit - commenting out some items that need to be fixed.)
(temporarily)
jonnyb: :)
chibaguy: The PHP scss compiler isn't very verbose about errors (ATPIT). I downloaded a free application - http://scout-app.io - which gives good feedback for SCSS compiling.
Then fixed the issue in PhpStorm and did the final compile there.
jonnyb: nice one, i wonder if we can/should request some better reporting from the phpscss guy?
chibaguy: That would be good, if possible.
Some Javascript isn't working, though - it seems popper.js can't be found.
jonnyb: hmm, i thought i fixed that one
chibaguy: Yes, I thought so. I'm not sure if I did something on my side to mess it up.
On the "failed to load resource" line, this is the URL for popper.js: http://cygwinhost/bootstrap4/vendor_bundled/vendor/twitter/bootstrap/assets/js/vendor/popper.min.js
jonnyb: let me check chibaguy...
looks like they moved it, nice :)
seems like they removeed it and suggest using a cdn for it https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.0/getting-started/introduction/#quick-start
ok chibaguy - popper thing fixed (quick & dirty) also did a merge from trunk while there, should be all good to go now :)
chibaguy: Ok, thanks. :-)

chibaguy: Interesting regression kind of thing: Bootstrap 4 uses Flexbox so columns in the source are in the same order as in the page. But this causes the left column to display on top when they stack in a narrow screen.
There must be a way to control that.
jonnyb: hmmm, not too sure about flexbox yet, as you say, surely there's a way round that...
actually, the left column is appearing on the right for me here on the bs4 branch currently :O
chibaguy: yeah, layout stuff need considerable work

chibaguy: https://v4-alpha.getbootstrap.com/utilities/flexbox/#order
... I used the "Responsive variations" for layout_view.tpl (basic, so far).
And that works.
Oops, not yet.
jonnyb: polom robertokir
robertokir: polom jonnyb!
chibaguy: Bootstrap docs are a bit behind the code - you can use "order-sm-1" etc. to specify the order per screen size.
hi robertokir
robertokir: hi chibaguy!
jonnyb: interesting chibaguy - looks promising
chibaguy: Yes, it seems "cleaner" than floating divs around.
And fun to play with - how about, on an iPad profile position, center column is full width and left and right columns are below, half-width?

sorry chibaguy - lost the window, ipad config sounds good! 👍
chibaguy: Sorry also, I was eating. I committed the layout_view.tpl file (basic).
