(sorry, nightmare morning) [14:22] robertokir polom jonny [14:22] luis_asa joined #tikiwiki [14:22] robertokir Luis and I are doing it together [14:22] luis_asa hey! [14:22] jonnyb coolio, hi luis_asa - well done, let me know if i can help [14:23] luis_asa ok! [14:23] jonnyb i managed to do the composer lib updates, well most of them, this morning, better than nothing :) [14:25] robertokir great! [15:26] juststrollingin they always run, don't they? :\ [15:30] jonnyb repolom [15:31] jonnyb indeed juststrollingin (hi!) Hopefully he'll try again another day... [15:31] juststrollingin polom' [15:32] juststrollingin He probably will, jonnyb. Do you know how it is going with Tiki 18? [15:33] jonnyb Looks like luis_asa and robertokir have got to the tag release bit for 18.0 beta, so that sould be ready for some testing very soon [15:33] luis_asa hey! [15:33] robertokir you read our minds [15:33] jonnyb hey! :) [15:33] juststrollingin nice! [15:33] luis_asa we just made the packages at release@release.tiki.org, but the scp to sourceforge is not working [15:33] jonnyb let us know when there are some tarballs for testing... [15:34] luis_asa our target date for 18.0 final is next Round Table Meeting, on Jan 18th. [15:34] jonnyb ah, it's a weird one that - there used to be a release technician role that was allowed to do that but i think it's only admin now [15:34] luis_asa jonny: can you give me enought privileges? or just log there and do the scp please [15:35] jonnyb i don't see 18.0beta on https://release.tiki.org/download/ (we could be testing them from there while we work this out, could you cp them there? pls?) [15:36] luis_asa jonnyb: I can't. They're at release@release.tiki.org:~/tikipack/18.0.beta/, and the command scp tiki-18.0.beta.* lfagundes@frs.sourceforge.net:uploads will give following error: [15:36] luis_asa scp: uploads: No such file or directory [15:37] jonnyb you need the full uri to the right directory on sf, let me see if i can work it out [15:38] luis_asa ok, then we update the How to release page properly [15:40] jonnyb looks correct to me - at lfagundes) (no /uploads path) [15:40] jonnyb correction, looks ok at https://dev.tiki.org/How+to+release#Upload_tarballs_to_Sourceforge [15:41] jonnyb :) [15:41] jonnyb i made a new dir for it at sftp://frs.sourceforge.net//home/pfs/project/t/ti/tikiwiki/Tiki_18.x_Alcyone/18.0beta [15:43] luis_asa https://release.tiki.org/download/18.0.beta/ [15:43] luis_asa files are there [15:43] jonnyb super thanks luis_asa - i got the bz2 one :) [15:43] luis_asa ok, copying files. instructions I got came from release.php script [15:44] jonnyb aha, yes, that quite possibly need updating, ta [15:44] luis_asa maybe we announce this link at release.tiki.org in devel mailing list and wait a couple of hours before uploading to SF? [15:45] jonnyb i think we can do it here, probably no one on the list would help :( [15:45] jonnyb tiki-18.0.beta.tar.bz2 unpacked fine [15:45] luis_asa okay [15:45] jonnyb setup.sh ran fine [15:50] jonnyb tiki-install.php ran fine (in French just to be awkward ;) ) and my tiki looks fine - bz2 package seems ready to go! :) [15:50] jonnyb anyone else around to help test? :P [15:51] luis_asa jonnyb: just updated the release.php to give proper instructions [15:51] jonnyb thanks [15:51] juststrollingin jonnyb I could try tonight when i get home [15:51] jonnyb thanks juststrollingin [15:51] juststrollingin this is php7 then right? [15:51] luis_asa jonnyb: I guess we can upload to sf.net and call it a beta release [15:52] jonnyb luis_asa and robertokir i think it should be fine, can you chack a couple of the other packages unpack ok at least then scp to sf.net [15:52] luis_asa ok [15:52] jonnyb yes, go for it, if the bz2 is ok the other should be fine too [15:53] juststrollingin sorry to be supern00b around you guys, but it will be just some lemp server with php7? [15:53] jonnyb and are you on the case to do https://dev.tiki.org/How+to+release#Update_lib_setup_twversion.class.php_after_the_release luis_asa? (also a merge to trunk and clear the version file conflict is usually nice to do to :) ) [15:53] juststrollingin might be instructions in the package i assume [15:54] luis_asa jonnyb: okay, I'll do that [15:54] jonnyb juststrollingin: tiki 18 is happy with php 5.6 upwards, fine on 7.0 and 7.1 but i haven't tried it on 7.2 yet [15:56] juststrollingin jonnyb I am so excited about this. I will do some boring default 7.1 I though [15:58] jonnyb :) [16:05] fabricius joined #tikiwiki [16:18] zlinux joined #tikiwiki [16:24] robertokir jonnyb, I've tested the other 3 tarballs, targz, zip and 7z. They all install fine. Only thing I notice is that just after installing I'm asked to reindex, I don't recall if that's normal. [16:25] robertokir I have to leave now, whoever comes back first, luis_asa or me, will scp to sf.net [16:25] jonnyb thanks robertokir - nice and thorough! :) i think the re-inxeding thing is correct, we did have a report that it was casuing some trouble with 17.0 but i think it ended up being fine [16:26] jonnyb great, thanks both! [18:39] robertokir joined #tikiwiki [18:41] jonnyb thanks kotten - wonder what the 504 was, but if you got through it that's good (for a beta), well done and thanks robertokir and luis_asa [18:41] jonnyb i'm off for the day now, so more TikiFun tomorrow! :) [18:42] Telesight joined #tikiwiki [18:44] kotten https://www.scalescale.com/tips/nginx/504-gateway-time-out-using-nginx/ <--- maybe something here [18:58] Jyhem_ joined #tikiwiki [19:01] fabricius joined #tikiwiki [19:06] kotten I get "Notice: Undefined index: PATH in /var/www/html/tiki-check.php on line 2035"(and line 2040) =='message' => $_SERVER['PATH'] [19:18] kotten I reran the installation and once again i got... 504 Gateway Time-out [19:46] kotten hmm keeps getting "*1 upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream" [19:46] kotten in nginx error logs [19:46] kotten I increased execution timeout to 300 [19:46] nayana joined #tikiwiki [22:11] luis_asa joined #tikiwiki
