Can't see the PHP version at mo as site has dropped again. Bsfez: joined #tikiwiki luciash: JWC: hmm, I wonder if it is a bug in the Softalicious installer then or not. We have no such issues using the normal Tiki way... You could try to go to yoursite/tiki-install.php and go to the upgrade step if there are some errors reported... but other than that hard to say... JWC: Lucian: can I ask you another question? luciash: JWC: alternatively you can make a backup of your database and try to install Tiki manually in another directory using the tiki-install.php JWC: I will try the tiki updater Bsfez: joined #tikiwiki
joined #tikiwiki JWC: I am having problems with lots of 403 errors when I try to create a page that contains lots of links to external sites. I fond a forum page that suggested that this might be linked to mod security but i can't find that as a setting anywhere in the tiki. Can you point me to where a change is needed and what change that might be? luciash: mod security is a Apache thing
Apache is the http server
but I do not understand why page with links to external sites would give 403 errors (403 usually means you cannot access a page on your own site for some permission restrictions) JWC: Right so I need to contact my hosting service. If I say that the mod security needs adjusting to allow wiki pages with multiple expernal links will that make any sense to them? Bsfez: joined #tikiwiki Jyhem_laptop_: joined #tikiwiki JWC: All the cuurent editors of the wiki have been plagued by 403 errors while editing, always when adding links to external resources. Anyone free to chat about adding and managing new languages? I have sort of added a couple but I am only getting partial functionality for them. benoitg: joined #tikiwiki
