chibaguy: here's an oddity: on the L&F admin page, the "Tools" item's dropdown appears *under* the search form's button in the topbar (in terms of z-index). This is when the dropdown opens toward the top of the page due to page position in the viewport.
<br> I don't see yet a z-index property on that button. The rest of the form, the input and so on, displays as it should beneath the dropdown.

jonnyb: Ah, yes, i meant to point out to robertokir that the db search seems to be broken for me in 19.x - does ti work for you? (the 2nd part where you pick a table to inspect)
chibaguy: All of <div class="input-group-append"><button type="submit" class="btn btn-info my-1 search_mod_magnifier"><span class="icon icon-search fas fa-search "></span></button></div> seems to be too high in the z-index order, or something to that effect.

chibaguy: The z-index problem I described is really an edge case as usually the dropdown doesn't drop up.
