Hi, i use tracker tabular to import some data from a file to a tracker. The file have 7000+ lines and 30 columns. The file have 1.9MB in csv. But the import is too slow, in 30 minuts. How can i do this faster? Jyhem: Hi sioux_, I'm sorry to report I never tried with so many lines & columns. So, no idea but just to be sure: you import using command-line? This is usually faster (and does not have timeouts). sioux_: Jyhem: yes, i import from command-line.
Import via LOAD of mysql
do you do ? luciash: sioux_: do you do it using the php console.php command? sioux_: luciash: yes luciash: ok, same here
I don't know if there is any faster way, sorry
maybe jonnyb would know Jyhem: Importing is hard because there are so many different kinds of fields and all need to be handled differently… It's never going to be as fast as SQL export/import :-(
By "hard", I meant "slow" :-/ sioux_: luciash: that´s ok, thanks man :)
Jyhem: so, thanks man :) malwar3hun73r: joined #tikiwiki sioux_: luciash: who is jonnyb ? luciash: sioux_: Jonny :) when he is here he has this nick sioux_: luciash: oh sorry and thanks ;) fabricius: joined #tikiwiki ricks99: joined #tikiwiki robertokir: joined #tikiwiki
