late polom
i see luciash and chibaguy have been busy in 19.x (and pom2ter) - thanks :)
(apart from r68765 ;) ) chibaguy: Just taking care of some low-hanging fruit :-) .
(re my commits anyway) trebmuh: joined #tikiwiki jonnyb: Been fixing up https://dev.tiki.org/Wishlist-Search-Page a bit - can anyone work out how to make the popups with the item info in a sensible width please? (missed chibaguy, oops) luciash: hi jonnyb ! jonnyb: hi luciash
finding some bad things in what i did yesterday on h5p... consider it all very experimental again! :P luciash: ouch, alright, I did not manage to make them behave while trying to create or edit
so I had no chance to save even
to make it wiped out
glad you found out and that there is some progress jonnyb: I found they were displaying ok, but editing was bad (wiped out content!) - and after that it was all borken again, something to do with the caching and old libraries lurking about i think (writing a script to reset everything) luciash: btw, the popovers can have sensible width by adding .popover {min-width: 600px !important} for example but it is bad usability then as the popover appears under mouse cursor and tries to disappear again
so it starts flashing and gets wonky
at least in Chrome
maybe if the popovers appeard in the direction down under instead of left/right?
I think it would be better if the popover did not try to go away under mouse cursor when you move (until you leave the area)
jonnyb: the search form loks much better now on the wishlist page! Thanks!
*looks jonnyb: thanks luciash - sorry, was deep in debugging h5p again, hopefully now worth testing (including editing and saving) - you'll need to do a database:update and flush all caches (including browser) - fingers crossed...
I don't think "down" for the tracker item popovers would work, as you can't scroll them... i'll add a page specific css rule again... luciash: thanks heaps!
will test shortly
jonnyb: about the hammer icon, originally I liked https://fontawesome.com/icons/tools?style=solid but it is not available in Tiki (yet) - maybe that hammer and history icon is just missing the dropdown arrows as all the others action buttons we have? but I can try with cog wheels or something or just roll back to chevron down jonnyb: this seems odd - all the fontawesome ivons are in tiki (apart from the premuim ones) - you just need to set the style param in the plugin/smarty fn i think
(i've been watching pom2ter's changes recently which i think are unneeded) luciash: jonnyb: maybe we do not have the latest FA version? jonnyb: ah, sorry, no - only in trunk so far (would be simple to backport the fix i did a couple of days ago)
i tried to update and it all broke, but fixed it later in trunk
but we do have the other styles supported in tiki, default (is solid), outline, light or brands all work
see what you mean about the flickering popups :( luciash: yup jonnyb: seems to be attached as "right" but "left" would work better i think
ok, off out for a while, bbl

jonnyb: when editing the first "Title
Metadata
Used for searching, reports and copyright information"
does not get saved when I re-edit it is gone
just a minor issue ;)
but it is mandatory field it says jonnyb: yes, it seems confusing to have two titles, have to admit i don't think i follow what they're up to with that (there's only one title in the database) luciash: could it be title for the browser window title? (nah, probably not) jonnyb: i found this in the WP plugin code: disableExtraTitleField: 1 if the library don't need the extra title field luciash: coo jonnyb: mysterious... anyway, off for the night now, more tomorrow! (maybe get show2.tw.o working! ;) ) luciash: nite nite! ricks99: joined #tikiwiki
