fo some reason i'm getting "Gateway Timeout
The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application." on my proction server when attempting 19.1
is there some way to 'manually' install or populate database for Tiki? Jyhem_laptop: hi Gour, you can try « php console.php » in the root directory of your Tiki. It will show you plenty of options. The one you are looking for is « php console.php database:install » I guess
assuming you have a db/local.php file gour: yes, i have. let's see...
Jyhem_laptop: i went fine - Queries executed successfully: 19774
now i wonder about admin credentials? Jyhem_laptop: doesn't start with admin/admin ?
then you change it
doesn't IT start with admin/admin ? gour: Jyhem_laptop: it does! bear me with me -Tiki noob here. :-) Jyhem_laptop: I believe it's mentioned in the last part of the installer. Obviously, if you skip the installer through the command line, you can't guess :-) gour: :-)
i've toched db/lock in my install, but it still reports 'installer not locked' ? Jyhem: That never happened to me… double check that db/lock is actually there? Maybe an ownership thing?
Also, when in doubt, this often helps: « php console.php cache:clear » or the same thing, shorter: « php console.php c:c » gour: nope. file was ok. now, after disabling from installer it is ok, although /db/lock is still zero-bytes file Jyhem: it does not need to have content. zero-byte is fine gour: all in all, 19.1 is a nice release after i was fiddling with 18beta...if luciash's markdown plugin become 'productive', i may end mirating our non-profit site to tiki

polom -: jonnyb checks out 20.x Jyhem: Hi jonnyb
I looked at show2. You created a 18.x instance, didn't you?
show2 was only set up for 19.x and trunk. 18.x was there but it was not being updated every 30 min. It was a tarball from "Jan 24 11:31" copied over from previous show.
It's fixed now, new 18.x should be up to date jonnyb: polom Jyhem
I intended to make a trunk show instance when i tested it the other day from nextdev Jyhem_laptop: ouch :-( jonnyb: Hmm....
Jyhem: http://chibaguy-342-6674.show2.tikiwiki.org was the one, and it says it's 20.0 SVN Jyhem_laptop: There's a weird line in lib/core/Tracker/Field/ShowTikiOrg.php jonnyb: just one? :D Jyhem_laptop: versions' => $this->getOption('versions', ['18.x', '15.x', '12.x']),
line 90 Jyhem: well, suspicious would be a better word :) jonnyb: suspiscious?
No, it's so the old field would contrinue to work with 18, 15 and 12 if the field option didn;'t get set properly, the option default was just in case
I think that one shouldbe deleted anyway, because the tracker item that created it will have been overwritten by now, wont it?
I've added 20.x to the field now, will that "just work"? :P Jyhem: hmmm, no but 250.x is easy to add for me. It's show2 side jonnyb: aha, the show2 instance appears on https://dev.tiki.org/item6674 (like magic!) and there's an svn up button now, i clicked it! :) -: jonnyb wonders about branches/250.x jonnyb: Jyhem: woot, svn up worked and i now see the double scroll checkbox! :) Jyhem: show2 should be 20.x ready in a couple minutes
now, actually
250x is for Marc who insists on being future-ready :) jonnyb: however, it looks like composer wasn't ujpdated...
:)
thanks, 20.x is plenty for now :P Tiki|bot: Recent Bug: - Set up wish reminder system - http://dev.tiki.org/item7083-Set-up-wish-reminder-system jonnyb: also it says the database is'nt up to date
does it not use doc/devtools/svnup.php? Jyhem: No, it does not rely on doc/devtools/svnup.php -: Jyhem looks Jyhem: It does « php console.php database:install --force »
But it creates a db/local.php with « $client_charset='utf8'; », which is probably obsolete for 19.x and trunk?
ooops, I need to get soem stuff for mother's day which is tomorrow.
bbl jonnyb: np, bb Jyhem: The svn thing is fixed, at least :-) xavi: joined #tikiwiki
