   <br> Marc sent out a reminder about: https://dev.tiki.org/Endangered-features. On of the features is Live Support. Non-functional for many years. There are currently many products that provides similar functionality. All seem to charge. Tiki having a basic Live Support system would have been nice.
   <br> I assume some of you on this list are in a position where "live support" functionality may be desired.

   jonnyb: I think the approach now is to integrate XMPP chat using OpenFire server and converse.js front end (already in Tiki)
   arildb: ok, I am not familar with that
   jonnyb: But for another client we've been using tawk.to which is really easy to integrate and has impressive features, and although free isn't open source

   arildb: Will this be multi platform? It will have the web page "popup", I assume. The current Live Support communicates via the database, which leads to excessive polling, when the feature is enabled. An alternative is probably better.
   jonnyb: We're having trouble with standalone clients for Mac and iOS but the others are well covered, and for a live chat scenario you'de be using the converse.js popup mode which yoiu can see on other pages there, e.g. https://wikisuite.chat/About
   arildb: https://wikisuite.chat/XMPP looks like group chat yes. I am looking for a "popup" on the web page and an on-demand one-on-one chat.
