so hw was searching for the channel operator

Reason is that, among other things, it is very bad juju to have an opless channel, vulnerable to spambots and worse

there is no clearos channel

LacrociviousIf my experience with other channels which have fallen into disuse and are being 'resurrected', it will take some time (months) for it to become more active in a real sense, and for a time most of the conversation will simply be to refer people to the forums, where there are more likely people who can answer the user's questions
Unless, that is, someone quite knowledgeable about the project happens along and decides to stay and help

cc-daveloperWe can post things on the ClearFoundation forum to make the change to whatever. If the ClearOS channel is available, I'd suggest you set up camp there and we can redirect everyone to that.
I also know that you can use the command line irc client within ClearOS to camp the channel
so long as you can get it tied to your login id and have your nickname registered, I think that is about it. 		[21:39]
