I've tracked down a regression in 8x related to image tracker fields, which seems to be related to the resizing of images at upload time (when size of image is bigger than the maximum image size allowed by tracker field definition) I recall that it might have been you who added that nice feature with images in tracker fields or maybe I'm wrong....
